X-rays came out negative on both Romo and Bryant, and while Dez's status for next week is still up in the air, Romo is not expected to miss any time, this according to team officials. The last time he took a shot to the ribs like that was 2 years ago against SF...he came back to win that one in overtime, despite a punctured lung (we didn't know THAT part until a day or two after the SF game). I believe the equipment manager even gave him a new flak jacket in the aftermath of the SF game, which, assuming he was wearing it last night, probably avoided any further damage last night.
 
I must say, with this new Eagles offense, Yung's team suddenly looks a lot better than it originally did. It's not going to save him THIS week though.... lol

EDIT: touchdown Owen Daniels... one more of those and squirrel can pull this one out

Well I must say I am severely disappointed in my Texans. But a few of our fantasy games are getting awfully interesting.

EDIT: HOLY EFFING CRAP... two TD's by Owen Daniels and squirrelpion snatches an improbable comeback victory... wow

The matchup preview is definitely the coolest new feature they've added this year. It even auto-updates itself when you make changes to your roster! I love all the extra info they give too, not just between the two teams, but the whole league together.

Looking forward to this matchup against LC :)

They even make recommendations on which free agents you can pick up. As a matter of fact, this was a direct factor in me picking up Brian Hartline last week, and I even moved him to my starting line-up. Although he did his end of the bargain, it was Spiller, Packers D (which I just now 86ed in favor of Dallas D), and my own decision to bench Randall Cobb and Jermichael Finley (this one based on matchups) that did me in.
 
I was reading an article that was talking about how KC might actually end up getting ahead of Dallas in the D department this weekend.


Not saying that so you make any changes, lol, just thought it was interesting that they were fairly confident KC was gonna be the better team.

Looks like mkray jumped on that suggestion. Personally, I'm going with the Raiders D this weekend... they're playing Jacksonville (what an awful offense)
 
OK, advice for my work league needed: I have Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco as my two QBs, and one of my co-workers impulse dropped Ben Roethlisberger. I know he had a bad first game, but do you think that over the course of the season, he'll be better than either of the two players I have? I'm leaning towards getting rid of Flacco for him, but the move might not make a difference, if at all. What say you?

I should point out that Ben's starting center is out for the season, so that might have a negative effect on his fantasy value. My best advice is this; when in doubt, pass up on him. That applies to both the draft and the free agent pool.
 
I personally wouldn't even bother with him, but, I also can't stand the guy <.<


One of the guys I wanted, I got on my other team, and he is getting sick points. Wish I had him on my TRMK team.

Well now it would hardly be fair without them, would it?

in other news... the circumstances of our draft force me into rooting for a QB I hate... and on top of it, he's failing me.
