Modern Rap.

If Future can sing "for real" then Treysongz can rap "for real" too

**** him anyway

J Cole= best modern rapper BTW

Treysongz does rap....and he's actually nice with it too (mainstream tho) -- judging from the 6 songs he wrote for drakes first album, alot of people would hop on the bandwagon if he ever switched.....

I was going to post this in Just Talk, but I didn't want it to get ignored. These young men have some serious talent.

When people say that the bar for lyrics nowadays has been lowered in hip hop.... they really aren't lying. It seems like all it takes now for a hip hop song to be considered good is a catchy hook, a couple of good similes and a good beat, especially for rappers like Lil Wayne who abuse similes in every single verse

My hip hop life has been really, really good now though. Lately, I've been bumping J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Jon Connor, and Jay Rock, all of which are dope artists. Can't wait to listen to Nas' new album, Life is Good, I've only listened to Bye Baby so far.

I'm sorry but New rap is horrid. There's no deeper meaning to the music anymore. It's all about money, car's and ho's.

Deep and meaningful rap, or music in general is fantastic.

Yeah, gin and juice was about getting drunk and partying, but it went from one song on the album to dominating the entire CD. It gets beyond annoying hearing the same song 10 times set to a different beat.
