Even stage interactions is grasping at straws, at this point, IMO.
Injustice and MK are 2 completely different franchises.
If anything, the ONLY thing that the CGI video confirms is Sub-Zero and Scorpion and X-Rays (because they were also in MK9).

I've debated the whole Bi-Han vs Kuai-Liang situation as fan-fiction and a possible reason for explaining why he's back, but at the end of the day, dammit, I just want A human Sub-Zero or A Sub-Zero in MK.
Period.

If NRS would have given us Cyber Sub-Zero for MK X instead, sure I would have been a bit disappointed (because I hate Cyber Sub-Zero), but I'd still be somewhat glad that Sub-Zero would be in.
 
I don't care what the roster looks like, I really just want Cyrax back. If he is back sector must come back too. I want to see Cyrax and Sector destroy each other!

Show me a Mortal Kombat game that didn't have a human Sub-Zero? Why is everyone so relieved? He's always in the game. And as long as he is Scorpions arch nemesis he will be.

I'm quite positive Boon makes his peanut butter and jelly with both peanut butter and jelly. He doesn't make it with just peanut butter.
 
I don't see it that impossible.
After all, there was a MK without Scorpion, but that was before the game was in Boon's clutches.

It's not so black and white that human Sub-Zero would be back, especially with BOTH of them being killed off in MK9.
Hell, if Boon really wanted to (at the cost of fans being pissed off and rioting NRS), he could have sold Sub-Zero as DLC.
If he wanted to, Boon could have also made Cyber Sub-Zero come back and not human Sub-Zero.
Human Sub-Zero coming back is a relief, because people didn't know HOW he would come back or what Boons plans were for the character.

No.
Scorpion wasn't in because Daniel Pesina and Carlos Pesina were both fired for promoting another game (Bloodstorm), with Daniel being dressed as Johnny Cage.
It's not because Ed Boon didn't want Scorpion in MK3.
The Pesina brothers being fired is the same reason why Raiden, Johnny Cage, and all of the other "ninjas" weren't in MK3.
The only 1 that was in was maskless Sub-Zero, who was played John Turk.
It wasn't until UMK3 that John Turk got dressed in the UMK3 "ninja" costumes, which gave us the rest of the UMK3 "ninjas" in that game.
 
Human Sub-Zero died in the first game. Came back.

Probably died in the 4th game. Came back.

Died after the 5th game. Came back.

Even if it was a different man under each mask here and there it's just obvious he will be in every game.

You have to look at it from a wrestling standpoint. He's there because he draws money. As long as he's a popular character in merchandise, pop culture, or the internet... He is in the game.

That's great and all but some of us were worried about Sub-Zero's fate... Bottom line.
 
I think Liu survived, but he'll probably look all cooked up. Could be a nice story though, like he'd blame Raiden for his scars despite that's it's more his fault than Raidens

I'd rather him be scarred then a zombie. This gives them a chance to add some layers of badass to him. I personally want liu kang to not only to be in mkx but also for him to kill raiden in some really cinematic scene.
 
I wonder how they would bring Liu back. I thought his death was ridiculously stupid and, like many others, find an acceptable way to bring them back.

I hope he stays dead. He is one of the dullest characters in the series - Which is crazy since he's the big "hero".
 
same i hate liu kang...he needs to stay dead.... only way i could accept him is if he became brutal like ;legacy 2

Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang) actually never died in the old timeline. Not in 4 or 5. They would put things in endings, but he never actually dies. (A miracle too because I'm pretty sure most everybody else got a round with death in the old timeline.)

Just sayin'
