It doesn't really look anything like him, except being a white dude with hair. In the next shot, he's doubled over on the ground as if he's been knocked out by the energy blast or something. It makes sense for him to be in that scene if he's Raiden's Champ, so I guess that's why people are assuming it's him.

Exactly, I think Mileena is holding the Amulet, but the Amulet itself is what keeps the mystery.

We need to know on comic #12 what this blood demon is, it will solve a lot of questions!

Just because they're not in a 2 minute story trailer, really? Why would they be in it anyway, this trailer had nothing to do with either of those characters.

No. Could have been a lucky guess, but it's a safe bet to assume it's true, since this trailer gave no indicators of any other new characters besides the same eight.
 
Ok that was oretty badass. I'm just wondering how Mileena got the amulet, and why Quan Chi wasn't in the trailer. And I hope they just don't kill off Shinnok... That'll be very lame. Mileena as the big bad? Id rather that blood demon be the big bad

Good point. I just can't see Mileena as boss. Not the way she's been portrayed up until this point.

I'm just assuming that Lover_of_tacos is a straight shooter. He hasn't misled us once so far, that we know of, so if he lied about the boss being obvious, that would be a first. It's possible like Lord Greyjoy said that he saw a rough cut that had more Shinnok in it. I don't know.

Mileena is the closest thing that comes to looking like the big bad in this trailer.
 
Hmm, that 5 kharacter reveals is another Ed Boon Jedi Mind Trick.

We have the trio of Takeda, Kung Jin and Jacqui. Plus we certainly have Mileena.

And we can spot Erron Black as he leads the young group in Outworld, you can clearly spot Sindel, Shinnok and if you hadn't mentioned it, I would have miss Rain. So that's 8 at least. Ed is a mischief.

Oh, and WTF is with Sub-Zero? We saw Scorpion slicing off Sub-Zero's face back then and Sub didn't have a beard or a scar. So either they remodeled him or we have TWO Subbies in the game.

Just confirms that there will be characters in story mode who are either non playable or potential future DLC.

There is no blood demon, there's just red clouds and vapors that may or may not have something to do with blood magic that may or may not have to do with Kotal Kahn being a Blood God.

Oh no, they weren't in a 2 minute clip showcasing the story mode which is probably many hours long, what ever shall we do!?

There was no reason for them to be shown, they're not really relevant anyway.

I think that I have to change my boxers. That trailer was AWESOME. It may have taken NRS a while to make the trailer. I can forgive them since they wanted to make it really good.
