Mileena's hair looks like black construction paper. Unfortunate they couldn't completely replicate her look from the comic
 
Omg, that was soo good, I'm stoked!

Jacqui looks good, Takeda looks good, Erron Black is there, Mileena, even Rain lol! But he might be an npc in the story.

He was talking about a rough cut. It may have been removed.

Otherwise, I think Shinnok is the best bet. He was only imprisoned, in the medallion I might add, which allows an escape. Especially considering a lot involves the medallion in the story. Also, MK9 revenants are still up and kicking 25 years later. For what purpose if it doesn't have to do with the Netherrealm?

I don't interpret Mileena as main boss out of that for a second. The main boss isn't going to be about someone using the amulet, it will be about the greater power behind the amulet. This was doing what they did in Injustice, covering there tracks to keep people on toes.

Plus it was already mentioned before that we'd learn about the "Rise and Fall" of Kotal's empire. So obviously Mileena gets the upper hand in the story at some point.


I wonder where that leaves Liu Kang though.
 
I do not think Rain, Sindel, Erron or Johnny are considered as reveals in the trailer. There is no focus on them and some of them can only be recognized if you read the comics.

It doesn't really look anything like him, except being a white dude with hair. In the next shot, he's doubled over on the ground as if he's been knocked out by the energy blast or something. It makes sense for him to be in that scene if he's Raiden's Champ, so I guess that's why people are assuming it's him.

Or maybe her hair was all over her face from the wind? In MK9 the hair was quite stiff for all female characters, this is much more realistic. I like the messy hairstyle anyway, it fits her savage personality.

The main bad guy is supposed to be surprising. How would Shinnok be surprising, MK9 literally ends with him and Quan Chi plotting to take over the world.
 
So that means that leak from a few weeks back is legit.
If Kung Jin is the bow guy, then everything else must be true too right?
