My expectations are pretty basic: I expect we'll find out who the boss is, and I expect we'll see a few brand new characters.

To be called "the rest of the story", it should be a complete trailer.

Showing Netherrealm War, Civil War and the threat of the 15-25 years that will be addressed in the game.

I'm not but I do have a feeling that they are likely in the game (Bo Rai Cho was seen on the casting list). I think the story mode trailer should show off most of the roster.

The only way this will disappoint me is if all the gameplay shown is of characters that are already known to be playable. The scary thing is it is a likely scenario, because our frustration, bewilderment and thirst to know who's playable and who isn't will sustain the eldritch abominations that are Boon's eyebrows.
