MKX Story Trailer (CST 8:00 02/27)

In my head, 4 of the confirmed characters would obviously be Mileena, Jacqui, Takeda and Kung Jin. Possibly Erron Black as the 5th but i'm not entirely sure yet. The fact that the first four got the most airtime indicated they're obviously in the game. Erron was a 'blink and you miss moment' and I'm sure a few fans are creaming their pants about Rain, but that was another blink and you'll miss. Even Sindel got more airtime in that trailer and there's a 99% chance of her not coming back.

I also can't imagine Mileena being the boss. For one, I don't look at Mileena and feel boss potential from her. And secondly was it not confirmed the boss would be male? Shinnok may the boss, but it's just weird we're not really getting much of anything from him aside from the ending of MK9 and that scene with Raiden and the amulet.

Raiden knows Quan Chi has the original Amulet. He could have tried to change it (remembering Quan Chi has it on MK9) and that one is the original.
 
Great. Now threads are going to be clogged have week long arguments over who the 5th confirmed character was :puke:

As you can obviously see, he wears no dark grey bodysuit underneath the rest. He is barechested under the purple and gold. Also, his gauntlets and loincloth are different. However, it is indeed remniscent to his MKA outfit, but it is not the same.

Also, I can't help but laugh at you guys going "Oh, look, there's a puddle of water on the ground. That must mean Rain is dead!". Really, guys? Talking about jumping to conclusions. XD
 
Cassie fighting the zombies maybe something to do with the demon or some netherrealm character. The sky is purplish red and it's shown after the red smoke starts feeling up the dark sky. Might have no relation, but I think it does. Not to mention the story seems to be focused some what around the amulet. The fight for outworld is going on and they probably have little stories in themselves going on like MK9. In 9 you had the main story with break offs like kitana, Stryker, etc., but the main plot khan winning was still their. I see this happening with the amulet, as it looks like it's being tossed around between a couple characters since MK4.
 
Things kinda missed in all the reveals.

Kotal aligned with Earthrealm forces. That would lead you to believe Reptile, Erron, Ermac, and D'Vorah are (sorta?) on the side of good as well.
 
It's an awful outfit I wish they had used that amazing outfit he had in MK9. That one was awesome.

If Mileena is the final boss she could be unplayable, if not she's totally in
Erron and Jacqui hold great chances, but it was supposed jhony too, so, maybe it's more than 5, but they didn't count well the chars who only made a little apparition like Sonya or rain...

Yeah, I don't think Boon meant of every new character we saw in this, only five are going to be playable. I believe he just meant those who were focused on more.

If he turns out to be playable, he will have an alt. So hopefully you'd like that one. ^^
Hehe, I've noticed that you and I share some opinions, but are in different points of the same spectrum. For example, you prefer Subbie's main outfit (possibly Bi-Han) and hate his alt (Kuai Liang), and I feel exactly opposite - but we both like Sub-Zero. :P
 
Nice!!! Who was that female ninja with the Orange eyes in the purplish outfit? Kitana or Jade? If I look at her face, it kind of reminds me of Jade's alternate outfit from MK9 with the mask on.

I might have a feeling Mileena is the final boss. I knew Cassie was the main hero. :)

Well Tacos said that we will see our big bad boss of the game in the trailer. From what the looks of it, she may be our main villain similar how Regime Superman was in the Injustice trailer. Cassie fighting the dead MK9 fighters makes me think the Nether Realm Invasion happens sooner then latter.
 
Watching the trailer again the moment where the cloud appears. And when theyre fighting the revenants. Seem like they are 2 different areas. The revenant fight looks like its in the netherealm
