I prefer Jason to Predator, and i'm happy. One guest character would be just fine, don't want another one. Jingu Kitana?!

Terrible, just terrible. Even Freddy was better than this slob, which isn't saying much.

It's not Freddy. It's Jason.
Also, I recall in end of January / early February that I thought that either Friday the 13th in February or Friday the 13th in March a horror character would be revealed, and it looks like I was right.

I mean i'm sure he'll be cool and all but they should just do a horror movie killer fighter game instead of throwing em into mk. Not a big fan of guest characters

Granted, I would have said that about Spawn or Predator, but at least I'd be happy with the results.

Dear god what are they doing? What a drab and dull addition! Walking slowly with a machette vs. what they could have? Spawn had beter make it in. He's got the lore, power variety and interesting look/character. Please god tell me they didn't choose Jason over a character like Spawn.

10/10 will maybe buy on a steam sale

Friday the 13th is one my favorite movie series of all time and Jason Voorhees happens to be one of my favorite horror movie characters. What is confusing is that WB no longer holds the rights to Jason and the Friday the 13th franchise. How could the NRS team got the rights to use Jason in MKX?

As for Predator, it's been mention quite a few times that FOX owns the rights to Predator. No way in hell FOX would ever let's one of the biggest rivals in the entertainment industry (WB) use Predator in a game like MKX unless WB paid through the nose to get full ownership of the character.

This is to the people who whining about having one of the most iconic horror movie characters of all time as a guest character in the Kombat Pack. Don't buy the Kombat Pack or better yet cancel your premium/special editions of Mortal Kombat X and get the regular edition. No one is forcing you to download/buy Jason. It wouldn't come as a shocker if Jason is the most downloaded/purchased DLC Character in MKX.

I think they said the kombat pack will include four characters (2MK+2G) plus fifteen skins. I could be wrong but I think this is what himmerick said. for this price and assuming the 4 chars will have an alt outfit and dialogue in-game and not that cheap no-alt and no dialogue MK9 dlc, plus with those fifteen skins being something new and unique and not classics again, the price could be considered okay

I seriously don't get how people think it's OK to pay so much for a bunch of skins these days, but then again I think DLC has been done wrong for the most part since the very start.

I for one like this. I was already going to get the kombat pack(netherrealm is one of the very few companies I actually support when it comes to season pass content) I knew for the longest time that Jason was going to become a playable character in this game in some way shape or form. So it came as no surprise that he is. And i'm happy. Never was a fan of nightmare so freddy was meh. I would have loved predator or spawn(still think we have a shot at spawn) but let's be real here. When it comes to who would make more money for nrs between Jason, predator, and spawn. I think jasons the most well known so they have to go with him.

My only downside I see to this is that we are already getting goro. Who i'm expecting to not be a fast character. Jason is definetly not something i'd describe as fast. Hopefully he'll be similar to Solomon grundy.
