MK10 or just Ed fooling around?

Take a look at this tweet:

RT @sidshuman So...are any publishers showing anything for DICE? Noobde: Other than MK10, nothing from us. ;)

For those who didn't know(like me :D) D.I.C.E. is a gaming event scheduled from 7th-8th february.
So what do you guys think of this?
 
This looks like one of Ed's non serious tweets, sadly :(.
Also it has been declared that MK10 is currently not under development.

But....

At the same time, we were never fully revealed what the third NRS surprise was. Hopefully it wasn't the MK game for PS vita. Another thing we need to note is that, its almost an year since MK9 has been released, surely NRS couldn't be sitting idly by all this time. Sure, the DLC, MKAK and its patches and the Batman iOs game were announced
but I dont think they would have taken considerable resources, time or people. Thus I feel it is safe enough to presume NRS may be working on a big title and hopefully it will be the third surprise and maybe announced during that D.I.C.E event. :)

Well, we know we're going to get MK10 eventually whether it was actually announced yet or not, so I'm not worried about it actually existing.

I think it's a little early to announce it though, as far as DICE goes. E3 could be a different story. MK9 will be over a year old by then so it wouldn't shock me to see a Spring 2013 release for MK10 announced there.
 
Eh, I'm thinking it'll be not till next year that we'll see an announcement, what with the GOTY edition coming soon.
 
You have to take Boon or anybody from NRS says with a grain of salt. It wouldn't be the first time they give cryptic messages or not follow through what they say. Regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if we will see an MK10 in the near future (I would give them at least another year). I could be wrong, but MK is the only ongoing franchise that Midway retained before they became NRS. Also, I don't see a reason why WB would buy just by MK franchise only to make one game out of it.

More MOCAP in progress for 3 characters according to Carlos Pesina but it could be for any game not just MK :(

I read the tweet in question: "More mocap this time it's a 3 person session. :)"

He may not be referring to 3 characters, but rather working as a group of 3 motion-capture actors. Either way, it goes to show NRS is working on something.

Relax...I believe that MK10 is being developed under cover its just to early to announce anything about it...I was sure hoping for an Ultimate Mortal Kombat though with Brutalities, Friendships,Animalities, Kombat Tomb with the roof pit, Pit 3, The Balcony, The Portal, The Warrior Shrine playable bosses including both C/Khameleons and much more :( but MK10 sounds good too although it wouldnt make sense to add any of these alities on MK10 as they wernt part of MK4-6

Now about the pallete swap UMK3 male Ninja dlc it was just a rumor it wasnt confirmed that it would have been released would have been cool it it did though so please disregard my last post about it....im just very excited for the PS Vitta Mortal Kombat release the game looks and plays like your own PS3 or Xbox 360 console ;)
