Major joy [Big Spoiler]

Cry harder why don't y'all? I'm not full happy with this neither but I'll make a little happy dance anyway cuz deep inside, I know I'll be able to decapitate the whole Cage family if I wish to and I'll make a true boss out of any character I wish to as I decapitate the whole world with him/her. *flex*
 
Story mode looks epic and a shit load of fun, but the ending is definitely a let down. I'd have preferred absolutely any of the alternatives (Reiko, Havik, Fire God Liu Kang) to...

...Demon Shinnok... perhaps with the exception of Dark Raiden.


Definitely glad I didn't order the Premium Edition, though. I can't believe Rain and Tanya are actually in the game with new voices and costumes, and yet they were left out in favour of ing Jax and the entire Cage family.

I might buy Predator, but that's it.
 
I actually like the concept, story, and boss he was a surprise returning character though he had a surprise form and he is a returning character........*dodges tomatoes, and knives*

Yea but if Reiko coming out in some Shao Khan get up or demon possessed form, but keeping the story the same just he was controlling everything would have been a surprise. Shinnok being final boss was my guess for months, alot of people thought this. As for demon form that was a popular topic a month back.

More like left out for Kitana, Liu Kang and Kung Lao who are never revived or made relevant during the story.

It's such a punch in the dick.

Exactly to be honest i dont even care about story anymore. So many loose ends. The liu Kang situation not getting a resolution pissed me off the most. Like really his death was made such a big deal in mk9 and the mkx theres nothing.....bs

NRS needs a better team of writers... ASAP. I may not know the entire story, but I am definitely hearing things that have left me speechless. I just don't get what they were thinking.

Its not that part. I love that. Its just the whole baot and switch irks me. When i see old man liu i think he got freed. Mentors kung jin with Kung lao but nope

Well yeah, but you should see it the other way around. Liu Kang is in the roster and has a normal "what if" costume even when he was dead the whole game.

It's a positive thing for a Liu Kang fan, look at us Rain's fans, we got screwed!! Rain is freaking alive and fightable and yet he's not playable... Tanya's fans are at least getting her as DLC.
