Noob Saibot is not in the game not even as a revenant so no.

I like Noob a lot but Rain was part of the story and a fightable NPC with new outfit, new voice and cool looking moves, we got screwed.

Maybe its time to Earthrealm invading Outworld instead? Thunder God is pissed, Earth military probably annoyed after what happened in the second part of MKX. Why wont we make Earthrealm as a bad guys this time? That way some currently underdeveloped mooks like Ermac or Reptile will get more spotlight.

Errr... no thanks. D'Vorrah seems to have a prominent role in the story and will probably return next time. Mileena? Meh, I'm glad she's out of the picture now. I'd have preferred Reiko or Havik to Shinnok, but I'd take Shinnok as a boss over Mileena any day.

Mileena is the leader of a faction, though, and seems to be quite important (as she should be). I think that's good.
 
To me this just feels like stretched out mk4 story haha not saying its a bad thing. I thought the story was good ,but the only thing that surprised was mileena. I would love to see Liu Kang's army vs Kotal's that be a great story.
