Main characters you hated

I know the story just fine. I still don't like him. He's just another Marcus Fenix to me.
 
Kazuya from the Tekken series. I'm a big Tekken fan, but Kazuya is actually among my least favorite characters in the series.
 
Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2,
I love the series, and I enjoyed playing as Raiden (and will play as him again in MGS:R)
But I just couldn't understand how Raiden could kick so much ass, but then wine like a little ***** all the time.

MGS2:
Rose: "It must be nerve racking defusing all those bombs"
Raiden: "It is, I almost threw up once"
WTF?

MGS4:
Raiden: "It was never going to work for me, it even rained the day I was born"
Raiden: (Grabs on to snake's leg) "I have nothing, I have always been alone, Always"
Ugh... Such a whiny *****.
 
well the my worst and i mean worst charactar is stryker he is very weak and his fattalitie is to shoot the head of c mon rubbish!
 
This was supposed to be excluding fighting game and secondary characters. Anyways another one to add to my list is Kratos after the first game he just became such an unlikeable game.

He was an ex-con so he was really pissed. I'd be a douche too if I just got out of prison and got involved in a bunch of stuff that could get me back in

I'll just say Ashley from Mass Effect, because that's the only major character I can really say that I have an extreme dislike of. Racist *****
 
pretty much every generic tough guy the game industry keeps throwing out at as these days. Which is about 80% of games. Whered all the creativity go? Yeah I understand not everything is a cartoon kids game anymore, but jesus christ these bald ass holes in all these modern games are so annoying.

At least we got Valve, they seem to be the only ones left with creativity.

THANK YOU!! i cannot even replay god of war games as they just annoy me now. he has one key phrase "I will have my revenge" LOL i honestly forgot all his motives for revenge but frankly i stopped caring. it got so old so quick, and playing God Of War 3, half way through the game i am like uhhhh are we just going to overlook the bigger picture? guess so lol i always cracked up cuz i felt the whole series started because kratos stubbed his toe on his coffee table and vowed revenge lol

Niko and Roman Bellic from Grand Theft Auto 4. I hate Roman the most. he is such an annoying whiny character. and Niko was just not interesting in my book. in all honesty NONE of the characters in that game were that interesting. slight spoiler: what makes that funny is that at a point in the game you pick between 2 missions and whichever you pick, a certain character dies. and they make it this big tragic story plot..... but if you can't stand either character its hard to get the sympathy factor. i was like i get its tragic for those reasons but the characters sucked IMO so i didn't care lol

Main characters I hate.

Mario (Mario games): stupid italian steroetype.
Sonya (MK): Come on, its a fantasy fighting game and she is generic as ****, so uncool.
Johnny Cage (MK): His gameplay is dumb, green energy = lame
Link (Zelda) - He's just stupid.

Desmond from Assassin's Creed was lame. Ubisoft never gave him any background besides being from a family line of Assassins.
