I think that NRS get some big extra cash by adding guest characters. That's why they add them.

I have always loved Predator and if his sales lead to another DLC pack or even time making the game better then so be it. They need these guys to sell games. I got over that with Freddie. Hardcore MK players don't pay the bills. It's the guy who sees Jason/Predator on a TV commercial and thinks damn that's cool I can fight as them. Do I like it? No, but if it meansore money to make more MK games then bring on the guest characters I suppose
