Their attributes are what make them warriors.

Torr and Jason are fighters for the exact same reasons. Their durability and strength. There is no "skill" to how Torr attacks, he just wildly swings his massive arms around. He's only able to do this because of his strength. The same goes for Jason.

Shinnok and Freddy are fighters for the same reasons. Their trickery and illusions.

You don't need to know a martial art to be a fighter. Both Freddy and Jason have thrown punches before in their respective series. And the way they fight in Mortal Kombat makes sense in relation to the characters themselves. Freddy slices, Jason brutalizes.

A bit late to the party, but amen to that.
You know who else wasn't a martial artist in any sense of the word, but was still in MK1? Goro. No discernible martial arts there, just brute strength, pounces and fireballs.

If you want fighting games purely for martial arts, Tekken is probably a better fit, overall.

Jason's Fatalities were too bad. Seriously bad. I didn't liked them a bit. Predator Fatality Videos are now down, but I watched before downed. Predator's fatalities are bad, too. This is just getting worse...

I agree with you about Jason one thousand percent but Predator? C'mon now, his fatalities look better than ones performed by some of the actual Mortal Kombat characters, lol. What issues do you have with his fatalities exactly?

Guest fighters have hit or miss fatalities. Kratos first fatality was good while his second one was bad. I didn't mind Jason's fatalities. Predator's first fatality was lame and his second one looks good though. Freddy's fatalities where pretty good though.

Both of Predator's are just generic slice point fatalities. Not very impressive or creative to me.

His first one is not impressive at all, apart from his opponent's facial expression once the disc has been inserted into their skull, and the second one, while not very imaginative at first glance, is just a straight up reference to some of the movie kills and I absolutely love it, if only for that.

His Brutalities are ace, though. Then again, in this game, Brutalities > Fatalities.

Okay that i didnt know that shes not banned at evo.
Im just telling how is in here nordic countries in europe.they are not big tournaments but still they dont let use dlc.
its good to know that evo lets use Tanya... then it can change here also.
