Ladies and Gentlemen of TRMK... I bring you The Man, the myth, the Noob..... RIP!

Its not a big deal. So what, he spams a Noob Saibot. Thats what most people do when playing Noobie, even Tom Brady. You play in tournaments to win, not to feel superior by pulling off crazy combos to please the crowd. Money is on the line, thats when gloves come off. Stop being haters and just enjoy the match, and if you cannot do that, skip it. Besides, its Liu Kangs fault for not being able to handle the pressure and Noobie... he obviously needs more practice against this play style. Zoning or spamming, does it matter? Seriously.

And also to all of you who claims "Hes a noob / Omg I could totally kick his ass" its easy to trash others online, when your not actually the one playing.

That is also a lie, only someone who never played Noob longer than 10 Minutes can say that. if you Main as Noob, and u play vs someone like Luikang... u will NEVER choose to go in and do a combo if you have a CHOICE to do shadows or a combo.... are 90% of the peeps here are to stupid to think logical or what? or just beeing trolls? srsly it annoys.

Its like saying, u play as reptile, u got the choice to do Spit spaming from far or you can land a good juggle with a ball, what will you do? Yeh sure you would do the Spit spaming, right? God sake.... let it rain some brain please.

So are you calling my logic stupid? I have played with noob and he has decent combos that always knocks away his opponents. If you play like RIP did, I'd quit midmatch or before it began. I don't see how repeatedly pressing the same 2 combinations to be fun for me... and you. You have these other people that learn what the characters can do with their movesets. If you just do specials, it feels like a direct insult to the creaters that gave them the moveset for you to utilize. IDK just personal opinion.

Considering you complain about how a Noob Saibot play style is, no, we arent saying your logic is stupid, but just your not thinking logically. Reread vacua's post again. THAT is logic, not "ITS NOT FUN SO IT SHOULDNT BE DONE". If you quit midgame, thats on you, not him. Sure if your talking about fun and games, maybe against a friend or playing online, I can see it as 'unfun', but thats a different situation. This is a tournament your talking about, tournament players. You dont play to have fun, you play to win, no matter the cost.

By the way, what he did has quite more to it than you think. He was anticipating his opponents move, whether he has to jump or not etc. By the way, obviously you dont play Noob Saibot often, or play against a good one. He doesn't have good close range combat, thats why his projectile zoning is so great. If you block his BnB combo, it has retarded slow ass recovery time, which could result in 30%+ damage against the Liu Kang.

Your whole argument is based on the fact that it isnt fun for the opponent/you. Who cares? Your playing for money to win.

thank you.

It's not the point where someone is learnedly doing something, down forward B the whole match, vs. Someone trying to do shit, but not that good. Sure, it might sound asinine that people that are lulzspam. Sure it might be considered proper zoning, however that wasn't even timed. Just same old copypasta that scrubs do. Sometimes it works with people that aren't so good, but I'm the process of learning, or someone is on the same level as lulzspam.
I kinda accept everything that people do to win, but it's just boring. A fighting game that involves two skills (both spam and proper zoning), both are really annoying and sometimes unfun. For the most part, it drives me further and further to apathy when playing anons, or just anyone I don't know in general. But hey, don't complain about people that doesn't like zoning and/or spamming, it's their opinions, clearly not others that are all for it, or in apathy of it, or of support.

In my opinion anyone that loses against a Noob player that spams shadow tackle is a scrub. Noob is the easiest player to combat against zoning in my opinion.

I find Johnny easier to use against someone like Noob. Easier than using Baraka or Jax. I'm not sure why but Johnny seems better against him.

Hmmm, interesting. He can keep you with his Shadows, and he's the only character you can't Shadow Kick to punish because he can do that Knee Toss which has priority over JC'S Shadow Kick.

Yeah, from what I saw, that guy wasn't a very good Noob Saibot player, but at least he had the guts to join those tournaments to play for some money in a crowd.

And you guys (Not you natedogg) arent understanding one simply fact. He was playing for money. You do what you have to do to win. Hell, if you threw me on there, I'd pick the cheapest most broken character and do the same thing over and over (if it works) ie: Superman/spamming projectiles. Is it fun to do? No. Is it fun to watch? No. But who gives a shit. I certainly dont care if I entertain you audiences or not, as long as I get the prize money.

It just depends on why you joined the tournament. Some probably joined just for the experience while others wanted the prize money. If I was in a tourney I wouldn't play cheap cause I'd want to show off my skills. Maybe if the prize was big enough then I'd play a little cheap

I do, lol. I love theatrics and showing off. Entertainment is key to get you noticed. Win or lose.

Exactly. A spammer won't be remembered or at least not remembered in a good way. "Wow you remember that tourney where DCP whooped all those guys?!" sounds a lot better than "Wow you remember when DCP spammed the living shit out of everyone so he won the tourney? >.>"

When that move is 75% of your "tactic", it's not zoning, it's spamming.

Not that Hugo was any better with cheap ass Liu...
