Kitana Revealed!

Just for the record... Kitana's thread is the biggest one from the reveals!

I can't wait to see Kitana's second fatality, I'm still hoping they give her back her iconic KoD.
I'd like to see it with this engine.

She was the first big reveal after months of drought. Kung Lao's hype was lowered when he was leaked early and was in a magazine before the video reveal. She was part of the best trailer so far and had the best visual revamp too.

Not exactly why I had lowered hype for KL.
I honestly had 0 rise from seeing Kung Lao in the trailer. My first impression, and my impression still has been, 'Oh, this guy again?'
Was kind of hoping he'd stay dead, lol.

I wasnt hyped to see him too because Im more of a Liu Kang person rather than KL. Kitana is my 2nd favorite female and 3rd favorite fighter overall and its nic3 to see her back. I really dont want to see her face get melted off by Reptile in the stream. She must win against him.

I have a huge feeling for majority of the stream it'll mainly be Reptile, their excuse to justify this will probably be the fact Kitana was in a recent trailer. I surely hope not, screw Reptile. All he did in MK9's story was serve as a punching bag for every character. I personally think D'Vorah will be the new punching bag in this story mode, the henchman usually are.

Kitana is ok, I'm more interested in Reptile, to be honest I don't like female characters in fighting games, I just don't. Skarlet and D'Vorah are my only exceptions. That reminded me of Paramore...
 
I hope Kitana is the main focus in this week's stream. I have a feeling she'll be leaving trails of green blood everywhere.. :slug::slug::slug:
 
I think it'll be like kung and ermac stream... They will start showing the first's variations, then the second's and finally they will have them both fighting in their duel match...

I've pointed this out once before about Kotal being evil because he didn't have friendly dialogue with Raiden: Before characters are about to fight, they aren't going to say anything nice to one another. For instance, "I like your shoes". So, Cassie and Kitana not being nice about things doesn't mean Kitana is bad. In short, no character is going to have anything friendly to say to the other before they battle to the death. :)

I understand your point.... But I´m sure some characters with the same alignment will have friendly dialogues... For example, If Jhony is in, I think his dialogue with Cassie would be something like: I want to train with you like the old days daddy, and Jhony would say: Of course my warrior princess or something like this...
We even know Cassie´s dialogue with Jax is something like: are you okay Uncle Jax???....

Dialogues could be diverse, they can be parry invitations, direct fights, sarcasms (also called Cassie) and so on.... but all have sense, specially according with the character alignment...
If Kitana says something like Cassie´s presence is a bother for her, maybe that means they don´t have the same story purpose....

And we already know Cassie is the definition of goodness in the game... so, I don´t know.... Kitana does seem evil this time around....

Jesus. People need to stop looking into this stuff.

They're about to fight to the death. What do you expect them to say to each other?

Kitana has always acted this way too. Re-watch the cutscenes of MK9 where she confronts Liu Kang in the garden and Smoke on the beach. Always a bit angry. It's understandable that she might be a bit angrier now, considering her friend was killed by her mom and she's been possessed by an evil sorcerer and, presumably, forced to fight her friends. And who knows the current state of Edenia. I would not jump to the conclusion of her being evil. That's a stretch, especially since nothing about her reflects a change in alignment.
