They explain why Saber has his arms back in one of Maximillian's interviews.
Given the picture a few posts above yours, don't you think it was an excuse created by the last minute? I mean...even Max made a funny face hearing it.They explain why Saber has his arms back in one of Maximillian's interviews.
I think this is relevant to this thread:
Killer Instinct is a mash-to-win noob-friendly combo fest
I never seen KI as a "button mash your combos out" game there was a certain rhythm and technique to the combos and they really only worked against people who don't know how to combo break well enough (which btw with enough exposure many people learned) and it's a shame that the new one seems to have gone in that direction. There's of course a debate over that in the comments there though.
I don't know if this is just me but I never found fighting games that rewarded button mashing as a viable technique to be the most fun in the genre. That's a reason why I was turned off by games like Tekken at first and always preferred games where every move was deliberate.

Anyway, if anything Orchid was the most entry level in KI1 because she's the one everyone seemed to figure out an easy long combo with. Probably Sabrewulf too for similar reasons. Jago I always picture more as for someone who was referring to what I said above.. versed in fighting games rather than entry level players in general.
Nobody likes braindead games.
Honestly, I see this game as going to be MvC3, with 200% less followers.
All I'm saying is that for me personally speaking mindless fighting games where one just bashes buttons to play or win are not fun. That's one reason why I always preferred playing games like Mortal Kombat at the arcades instead of say.. Tekken. But that's personal opinion and what's not fun to me might be a blast to you.
No, combos don't have to be ridiculously hard to pull off for a fighting game to be good but in a 1 on 1 fighting game I don't want them to be "braindead" either. There is probably some depth to this new KI from what I've heard described but Jonathan Holmes is doing it no favors in my eyes calling it button mash friendly.
so I heard this shit was a free-to-play game...
lol where they do that at?
Will this game have finishers like fatalities?
I think they said no Fatalities at launch but they can add them later.
If this isn't in PS4, I won't care about this game then.
Then stop caring. Almost every post talks about how it's an Xbox exclusive
