Killer Instinct announced for XBOX ONE!!!!!

Killer Instinct is definitely not a selling point to warrant buying a Xbox One. I'll probably have more fun with other fighters anyways.

That I do realize. However, what I'm talking about is when one is playing with the general populace or with their friends or relatives. I do not like it when button mashing is ever awarded with victory in a 1vs1 fighting game. Most fighting games have that to some degree but the less the better in my opinion.

Also I totally realize that some people might have the opposite opinion of mine. That playing a fighting game where the learning curve is high such that they always get their asses handed to them whenever they play is not fun either. When you think about it, that sort of thing probably is one of the factors that led to the downfall of the arcades. Some players took joy in keeping the noobs out of the arcade.

It makes no sense to judge a game based on low-level play when the fighting game community has learned to overcome the just about everything that was thrown at them. If someone loses against a button masher, there is something wrong with the way they are playing. It's easier for someone to blame the game than admitting he/she has a lot to learn.

You realize you can mash&win in any fighter right?
 
Tekken is not a mashing game to me.

But you can easily spam shit like Kazuya's spinning kick and win against someone who doesn't know how to counter it.

Wasn't ignorance, it was a lack of detail. When it was first announced, it was announced solely as a f2p game. Wasn't until recently that they revealed the packs and full game with only Jago shit.
