Kabal Thread - "Let's See What You're Made Of!"

Thank you very much. I appreciate the warm welcome. In the tutorial, I intend to fully cover the NDC's and the iAGB's. As well as that, I will show you 4 combo's, which are as follows:

Kabal's 42% Midscreen Combo (without X-Ray)
Kabal's 46% Midscreen Combo (with X-Ray)
Kabal's 42% Corner Combo (without X-Ray)
Kabal's 44% Corner Combo (with X-Ray)

I will give tips on how to increase the success rate of pulling off all the above too! :-)
 
Sounds good. I usually don't use Kabal's X-Ray though. Only if I need the unblockable damage to win, or if I want to show off and add more into the combo. haha

Yeah, I do the same. Although, I find it relatively easy to build meter with Kabal. I usually get full meter very quickly. I'm sure it only takes about 5-7 N.D.C. mix-ups to get one bar.

Thank you. I'm currently working on the tutorial. When finished, I'll be sure to post it here first. I'm quite good with other characters too, namely Kung Lao and Quan Chi (my Main). If this tutorial pays off, I'll be doing most of the roster too! :-)

I started to think he might be a guy with Testyourmight withdrawal symptoms Because TYM has been down for like almost weeks now. I figure most of them probably posting on MKU atm.

Oh, that explains it. I assumed it was down, but I wasn't 100% sure.

It's mostly me not really having time to travel/ a lot of stuff going on in my life at the moment. I do play offline with 4 friends who are all pretty good.

Hahaha, I'm not from TYM. I'm just an average guy, who is REALLY into Mortal Kombat. I've been playing this game for over a year, yet I still cant get enough of it. I do watch a lot of tournament videos. All the Kabal stuff I can do, I've learnt from watching vVv REO. He is my favourite Mortal Kombat player. I love his Kabal! :-)

Do you play online on the PS3? If so, send me a friend request and we can have some games. I have the Hauppauge HD PVR, so I can record some of our matches too if you want! :-)

Sure, i'll add you. I play online, but not that much as I have offline people to play and playing offline makes me play pretty poorly online :laugh:

Sure, man. Whenever, i'm on a lot so if you see me online just send me an invite if you want to play and i'll accept it if i'm not busy. I need matchup experience against like 90% of your mains anyway :laugh: especially KUH-BAWL.

Well, knowing when you can interupt/poke-out of a string is 50% of the battle. So for that, you may need to look at frame data for individual characters. The other 50% is figuring out the other player. Every player will rinse and repeat moves to a certain extent. Igf you can figure out their strategy and find a way to counter, then your pretty much done! :-)
