they made way too many kid versions of old cartoons.
Tom and jerry kids
flintstones kids
muppet babies(ok it aint that bad. I used to watch it)

I absolutely detest when my fav shows are remade!
Batman(s), Spiderman, TMNT, Scooby-Doo, Superman(justice puke), Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Beavis and Butthead, Woody Woodpecker....on and on.
All of these new installments=FAIL!
Just glad they haven't redone my all time favs--
Pink Panther, Gumby, Mighty Mouse, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Dick Tracy, Underdog, Gummi Bears, Beetlejuice, Bobby's World, Ren and Stimpy, Darkwing Duck, Rocko's Modern Life, Daria, Celebrity Deathmatch
I just realize I watch(ed) a lot of cartoons.

Me and a friend played the whole thing straight, thought it was ****ing awesome, it's an action game now, but doesn't mean it's bad

Thats what me and my friend did as well. Picked up the Collectors Edition at midnight and me and my friend played it all the way through on hard mode. Took us about 21 hours or so if I remember right. We got through the first 2 or 3 chapters really fast because they were the levels in the demo and we played that demo every night for about a hour and a half lol.

yes, but Dead Space is going down that path as well. I dont understand why people have lost the intrest in survival games.
Every game out there now has you plowing down zombies with big ass weapons in a breeze. I miss it when you had nothing but a pistol or knife and you were the one who felt in danger, not the zombies.

This. I loved the feeling of not knowing if you're going to die in the next room, not the feeling of whose ass I'm gonna kick next.
Another friend of mine says he's a RE fan even though he hates RE1-3 and C:VX because of the fixed camera angles. Imo the fixed camera angles help make RE during those days. Not knowing what was around the corner and hearing a zombie moan but not knowing where it came from was ****ing awesome.
