Is reptile Counted as a Ninja anymore?

Reptile is a ninja. Since MK2 he has been hiding it under the ninja armor and or suit. So now he brings it out a bit, so people know that he is a reptillian ninja.

^^ This. I think he's still a ninja. Or else, he would not have a classic ninja costume.
 
Of kourse he is still a ninja. Do you not see the mask on him? Stop bringing up MKDA that was a long time ago where he wasn't a ninja. He is a ninja again now.

Hell yeah that looks like a ninja to me, a scary lizard ninja. (this is my FAVORITE Reptile, with the tail and lizard body...)

You're telling me you can accept Ninja Turtles, but a Ninja Lizard is unacceptable?

Scorpion is a Hellspawn.
Noob Saibot is a Wraith.
Sub-Zero is a Cryomancer.
Reptile & Chameleon are Saurians.
Smoke is a "Human" Lin Kuei.
Ketchup & Mustard are Cyborg Lin Kuei.
Rain is a Prince.

The only ninja out of all in the series that doesn't meet ninja qualifications is RAIN.
I heard of a King of Thieves(Aladdin), King of Pirates (PotC, One Piece), and even King of England...
But I never heard of a King of Ninjas...

Depends. The only actual Ninja in MK is/was Scorpion, being a mercanary for a Japanese clan. As for being a MK Ninja, well, character costumes have come a long way since the 2D games. Most of the Ninja have changed. The only thing that really keeps these characters tied to their roots is the colour they wear and/or a face mask.

Not to split hairs on technicality but the reason he looks more reptilian in recent games is because he's been away from his Matriarch for so long. The longer his kind are away from her, the more they regress to a more primal reptilian state. At least that's the official story even though we know it's a coverup. Really has nothing to do with his ninjary but still a fun fact nonetheless. =]
 
Well, he is dressed like a ninja so i guess that pretty much mean he is a ninja..(?) I always though he was a ninja in the previous games. But in the later games (Mk 4 and on) he just looked like a reptile too me, especially in Mk Deadly Alliance.
 
He was always a MK to me. I disliked his looks from MK4 onward, but his 2nd alternate costume in that game was great. I'm just a fan of the ninja suit and human look for him.
 
Even though Reptile does not look like a ninja anymore. I still count him as one. He was in the group of "Pallet Swap Ninjas" back then. I really wish they would have given him a ninja-type costume for this game. oh well. . .
 
Yes, he is a ninja. I would love to see his reptilian face under his klassic costume as he'll get hit. Like Scorpion and his pretty skeleton face.
 
Hmm, idk. You don't have to wear a mask to be a ninja. I mean, sub zero took off his mask and people sorta still considered him one of the ninjas so why can't reptile?

I agree. And they are going to have to rework his back story about the thing about Saurians and the Matriarch, because if they used that as a reason he was changing from Deadly Alliance forward, logic would lead us to believe that he should still be human prior to Deadly Alliance.

that had to be the dumbest defense i ever heard, Reptile lost that ninja tittle after mk 4 when Midway decided to make him look like frogger and kermits retarded inbred baby, reptile WAS my favorite but i have lost respect for him =/
 
what about the ninja turtles they were reptiles that knew martial arts lol, nah but seriously why would u think hes not a ninja specialy in this new MK were they taking it back to the roots plus they are giving hin his retro atire MK1-UMK3 dont forget that
