Is Mortal Kombat 2011 dead ?!

Ok so we all know DLC is "over" for MK 2011, so do you think they'll be making more stuff for the game? I really would like there to be more DLC for the game, or at least take more time to release DLC... what do you think? will they continue working with this game or not?

There is another patch on the way with buffs/nerfs, I'm sure they will still work with the game...

Whether or not they bring more DLC most likely depends on how well previous DLC has sold.

I think there will be another DLC in a couple of months. It's not a big deal to develop classic skins or new stages. I hope MK2011 will still be supported by NRS

probably not. they just need to give us and themselves a breather for a while. we have been recieving dlc every month since the game was released less than four months ago. they probably don't want to "flood the market" or rather marketplace.

I think there will be more things for mk9, but i dont think there will be alot more like they have been doing so if they make another mk they can still have some fresh ideas instead putting in the same things...

Surely it will be dead in some months with no DLC. And that would be for the best. I'm tired of MK9 and it's unpleasant surprises.

Then don't play the game. No need to flood the forums with your *****in'.

I don't think a lack of DLC will kill of the game, and as long as the DLC sells well, they'll probably keep making it anyway.

Lol, this is a fighting game.

Fighting games never die.
There are still people who play Deception online!

Indeed. Hell, I still love playing Street Fighter II and the original arcade versions of MK - MK3.

I anticipate there'll be another classic pack of retro costumes at least, but if there's no more DLC it doesn't mean it's dead. It's a simply awesome game and it was just the thing needed to re-inject life back into the franchise by getting back to its roots with ultra-gory fatalities and the discarding of the gimmicky 3-D crap in the previous games. If we get any more DLC from here on, I'll consider it a huge bonus.

I think they will bring new fatalities for the fighters and stages, also costumes and more characters, they released a warrior bundle for 15$ (one fighter for free) so i think they will get enough (or already have enough) money to make more updates. I guess they will take a break for few a weeks and we will get more news in September or October.

Some of you don't want guest characters to turn this into Mugen, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm hoping that NRS do not turn this into another MK Armageddon, I thought the original plan was to have fighters from the first trilogy.
