Injustice Scorpion Trailer

Scorpion is everywhere



The ''slide'' move was known as the leg takedown in MK2, it wasn't created for MK9. He has been given a new super, a b3 and f3, plus he lost his njp and the ability to dash cancel, what else do you want?

The reveal was delayed for this?? Really? And ANOTHER Superman skin? He is almost a cut and paste from MK9 with a few DC style alterations. I kinda knew he would be DLC , but I thought he would be #4.

The MMH thing better be true. That would make up for this. I love Mortal Kombat. It's my favorite fighting game , but I didn't want anyone from MK in this game. Plus it looks like Sub-Zero will be in Season 2 pass if there is one. He could be just a part of Scorpion's intro , but somehow I doubt that.

The only good thing about Scorpion in this game is he is another anti-zoner in a game dominated by zoning. This I like aloooot! He may be worth a shot just because of that , but I still didn't really want him in this game.

Homeboy looks better than I could have ever imagined. His playstyle is pretty similar, and that teleport is going to be mad OP, but I'm glad homeboy is in.

Another thing, lost in all this talk about Scorpion is the pretty sick costume Supes has now, though its not like he need another lol. I wonder if they're gonna have another DLC costume pack to go along w/ it, since they've done the same with Lobo and Babs.

Keeping the spear and hellfire as signature moves is one thing. But there's no excuse to retain the entire MK9 moveset. It's lazy and weak, especially when they even have recycled animations. It's not even the same old in a new way.

Even the Super was boring - slam the guy between 2 rocks. :zzz: You'd think with nothing else to have to do for him, they could have made something better than that.

The only reasons he's in the game are

1. He's the company logo
2. He's Boon's favorite character
They only re-designed him because they knew we would complain about him having the same moveset from MK9 and they did not want to seem so lazy as to not re-designed and copy-paste the same character (which they did and they still look extremely lazy)
 
@batboshark9: he's right at the end. Watch the video all the way through and he'll fly right towards the screen
 
the butthurt salty rage is delicious, if you bought the SP then consider scorp to be the free character. you have no one to blame but yourself if you bought the pass before knowing who the character(s) are.

I see far more people wanting rage than people actually raging. You guys are over-compensating. Most of what I see (on this board at least) is slight disgust mixed with expected disappointment.

Personally I care very little about Scorpion as I didn't buy the Season Pass and I don't intend to buy a single DLC character.

What annoys me about NRS is they know that the MK community is full of people, (several examples in this thread) who would buy a box of air if it came with a picture of Scorpion on the front so they put little to no work into him.

I have little time for fanboys and I have high standards in a game that NRS haven't met with Injustice in many ways.

I'm getting closer and closer to taking this game back to the store to be honest. My hype level for Injustice is as rampant as my penis is when I see a fat woman in a bathing suit.

Really? Extremely lazy?


I'll admit all he has is his MK9 moveset with Deathstroke's J3, but I wouldn't call it lazy. Scorpion doesn't have stone set normals. He isn't like Ryu where you must have his beautiful Roundhouse and crouching light, Scorpion's normals have changed over the years. MK characters are defined by their special moves.

Agree. Their next MK game would probably meet my standards though.
 
I wanna see more than anything what Jim would do if He was left to redesign every Mk character. It would be amazing being that he is my favorite artist.

It would have also been cool if scorpion said I remember you Superman, dont think I have forgotten.
 
I bet Scorpion is going to be another Nightwing or Green Arrow. Where he has insane combos, and ass damage.
