Could be a good idea to add Steel as DLC for the Man of Steel DLC. It'll contain Steel, Superman's classic costume, and possibly Apokalips (if it's not already on the disc to begin with)
 
I hope Lobo makes the initial roster, I think he could be to tier IMO.
Any thoughts on who looks top tier right now?? I'd say Batman, WW, Flash for sure and maybe Lex that upgrade suit is MONSTER.
 
It is hard to say off of looks, since usually when we see them play it's just for show.
Looks I would say Superman (obv), Lantern, Grundy, and Flash.
But then again, no one thought Peach looked Top Tier in Super Smash Bros Melee.
 
its already been said that Flash and Cyborg needs a nerf by some top players at the comicon so id say those two are top as of now
 
CAP. Marvel is awesome looking Nightwing and Cap. Bane, and Lex and Deathstroke are the one's I'm most interested in trying out. :D
 
That's a cooler design for Shazam but he just seems so lame. Every time I hear Shazam, I think of foxy cleopatra from gold member.

I cant put my finger on it but for some reason Im kinda not feeling this design all like that. Maybe its the hood. or the outfit its self. I mean Im not saying its bad idk maybe I just feel it doesnt suit Captain Marvel all like that to me.

Lobo was confirmed as to not be on the initial roster by Boon when he was discussing dlc. I can't remember the name of the video but he says "We want to keep dlc a possibility for lesser known characters like Lobo"

It's when Ed is going over how they select their characters to be included. He lists the 3 main factors:
1. Recognizability (Superman, Batman, Flash etc.)
2. Story Potential (the character should have relationships with the other characters in the game)
3. Obscure (they want some that people won't expect)

Then the host asks if some characters are "too obscure", and Boon talks about some fan favorites such as Lobo, that they'd consider for DLC.

That's at EB Expo in October, and the character select screen was seen at the beginning of July at Evo. So 3 months later and he still didn't give a concrete number. And I haven't seen one video where they say the final number. It's always "we haven't revealed that" "It's 20-30" "it's in the 20's" "around the same as MK9" "there's a number left to be revealed" - Hector's interview with GiantBomb from last week. That's why I am a bit skeptical that 24 would be the final number. It could be, but why not confirm it then by now?
