I am playing on beginners mode and the final match is so hard shao will never stop using that weapon of his and it's so hard to win how do you beat him?

keep jumping in with punches that link into short combos and do raidens superman move. he gets easier the more you loose to him

Teleport whenever he starts an animation for one of his special moves and uppercut him. It also helps if you try to stay on the far end of the screen. That way he'll keep trying to throw his spear, making it easier for you.

^^^ this.. thats what i had to do to beat him. I really dont like how raiden plays in mk9 so i was really bad with him
but this has to be the easiest way to get him

I beat that level. Didn't use the superman move at all. Did use a few teleports. But it can be done. The thing is now i'm on the challenge tower at mission 300 and i got to fight three bosses with one character. So now i got to figure out who to use that can take down these bosses quick so i can finish mission 300. LOL!

Use the above teleport/combo strategies but also, you can(and this really made the match easy to win) walk straight up to him and 75% of the time he will execute a hammer sweep/bash/uppercut. When this occurs, as he's going into the animation, jump over him and exercute either an uppercut or combo of your choice. He will be unable to stop this since he will still be in an attack animation by the time you attack from behind and also it will not be deflected. I was able to take him out with ease once I noted this.

lol, I beat him by just getting as far back as possible when he taunts, and frame perfect projectile spam. he'll just block and take chip til he dies or throw a spear and get interrupted by ur bolt(he also seems to taunt alot more while your pummeling him with projectiles). If he unglitches/approaches, Just block his attack. (Sometimes aim low if you hold standing block too long, shao khan will swing low if you stand too long). Then immediately do his superman flying move thing, back off and rinse/repeat.

How I beat him is stay as far away as possible then when he throws a spear or hammer teleport then do the combo 2 2 ->+1. Don't do any enhanced attacks, save up for Xray. To ensure your Xray lands, wait until he taunts you. Then teleport behind and do your Xray.

@ immortal reaver - lucky you having shao kahn taunt...he never taunted for me
basically what i did was do 2-3 punch combo followed up by his electric grab move, wait until kahn gets up jump over him or teleport and repeat the process...i cannot stress enough to land the first blow in the first round to get that meter moving...
if you can save your xray and defeat kahn in the first round with it...do it..i was having issues with him in 2nd round so i took it to 3 rounds but i got him with another xray finish
