General Injustice Gods Among Us Gameplay Chat

I can't MB B+3 with Lex to counter DD. Lex is extremely dependent on meter. I'd rather eat a supernova rather than possibly waste a meter on a misread move.
 
I have noticed if you MB B3 with Harley or Bane you completely miss DD on landing and end up on the other side of him. Dunno if its a timing issue or just a problem with these characters
 
I like to MB B3 Supernova because it's guaranteed damage. It also makes Doomsday think before he uses that move.

I've learned to check Doomsday's meter during Supernova's start up for that very reason. That tech won't work on me :aetsch:
 
Online it can still be done and I have seen a few Lex players still able to dodge it without a problem. You can even backdash instead of forward dash as well.

I'm not usually one to argue , but it depends completely on the connection between players. If there is ANY lag at all then dashing to avoid it is nearly impossible. And have you noticed that Lex's backdash is single handedly the worst backdash/movement of any type in the entire game?
 
If I had to suggest a change, I'd up the Walk Speeds like most of the people are saying at TYM. The ground game in Injustice is kinda shady because Jumping beats outs dashing because of the long recovery of certain dashes and the fact that we have to wait until the animation is completed to Block/Attack/crouch makes spacing hard, and Advancing normals are Jesus Christ. Only Advancing normals can whiff punish consistently (F2,3/B1,1,3/ Etc..).

I would also like to walk back and forth similar to Street Fighter footsies to throw off they're spacing too.

How about just buffing the people with sh!t D2s?, or nerfing peoples j2s? *coughbatmancough*

Nerfing Batman's J2 would be character specific, we're talking about General gameplay mechanics.

Buffing D2's again would make Injustice more grounded, Jumping would still be strong against Keep-away but as an offensive approach it wouldn't be as good as it is now.

But another Universal buff will make everyone with godlike D2s even better. Therefore we'll still be in the same situation. Nothing will have changed. The good will get better, the worst will get good.

Batman was just the example as his hitbox is completely retarded. If people don't want aerial combat then nerf the aerial approaches.

I agree with Interactables, respawns should be removed.

Walk speed not so sure of, Id prefer a dash speed increase.

If you turn off a stage interactables and transitions that should be it, the other people shouldn't get the choice.

Nerf projectiles universally, cool down or whatever.

The current game as it stands now is, walk back, shoot something, walk back some more, throw something, keep walking back......Its not a fighting game.
