General Injustice Gods Among Us Gameplay Chat

DD is very hard to block/avoid online for sure. I got beat by a supernova spammer because mobility is Lex's biggest flaw. I just could not avoid any of them.

Just found probably one of the best counters to Supernova in the game. Green Arrow's Sky Alert. Even the meterless version is super easy to counter it and even hits twice so it doesn't matter if MB Supernova is used. Sky Alert~223~Load for a 20% punish and have an arrow. Normal SA is 17 start up frames and MB SA is 5 start up frames. Definitely easy to counter with.

EDIT: You can even do...

-Sky Alert, Sky Alert, 223~Load for 28%. Meterless and pretty easy to do.

-MB Sky Alert, Sky Alert, 223~Load for 32%. 3 arrows hit. You can do it super late and get all 4 arrows to hit but it's pretty strict. I suggest only doing the MB SA if you aren't fully anticipating and you might need the extra quickness.

You can also do a super early SA into Super, which is pretty damn funny looking but somewhat strict. and not worth the risk, unless you're playing a real scrub.

Wow, Catwoman's cat dash is so fcking lame. It should NOT go both ways on a whiffed MB version. It should only be able to travel a farther distance and on hit will add the extra damage. >_>...

I honestly hate spending meter on MB F3/B3 when I can simply dash to get out, and Meter is important to me against Doomdsday because without it I can do my Safe jump set up.

But she's full screen after a auto corrected MB dash, people can just lame her out afterwards.

Some characters have slow dashes making it pretty hard to dash on reaction, especially online. Playing online is my main reason for usually using meter to punish it.

Still gey.

Doomsday is like the asshole bully that just won't leave you the hell alone for sure. I usually attack him very quick and not allow him to get any momentum at all. The key for Doomsday playstyle are definitely his aggressiveness and momentum that he tears you apart real easily.

False. B23 will only beat out Walking Corpse if you time it perfectly. He could still do a delayed wake up. It doesn't beat out Cleaver Spin since it has invincible frames on wake up. Also the MB version is +3 on block. He could also do a tech roll then a wake up attack, making you whiff your B23. If you think he will tech roll then wake up with Walking Corpse, even if you time B23 perfectly, it will only make his attack whiff and be back at the neutral game.

tl;dr: B23 will only beat out a normal Walking Corpse wakeup, but there are a lot more options that he has. I could wake up with MB Cleaver Spin and punish you for 47% or more with one bar.

I have the timing down without question, to the point where it isn't timing at all. It's pure reaction.
Reread my post and notice that I said it beat all of his wakeups except for cleaver spin.

Yeah, Doomsday's earthshake is definitely a d#%khead move. The best way to defend against it is to avoid it all together. I don't think I ever successfully blocked that move.

I love Doomsday now, and Earthshaker is a beautiful move. I've played a few players who were able to block it.

And I definitely love taking advantage of people's anti Supernova tech.
Making them waste meter thinking I'm Ex-ing my move.

Or the best is when you're about midscreen apart and you Supernova. They dash forward to go under only to get crushed because once again you used the regular version.

He's stupid like Aquaman and Batman and Superman and Catwoman and should be nerfed. His attacks shouldn't do damage unless he has trait active.

Good thing our mains are so complex and invoke so much mental stimulation that it makes us feel good for putting such underrated characters on the map

I've played Doomsday and never ran into a single person online that can deal with Supernova and Earth Shake. It basically has a 99% hit rate online. Most players don't know how to deal with it.

Most players also don't know how to deal with Grundy's Oki game, doesn't make Grundy stupid (He is stupid, but not in that way. Okay he kinda is. One button command throw. F#ck off)
