If you're talking exclusively about the Kombat Pack, I don't see why you're so adamant about this. The Injustice season pass finished up in early July.
Injustice DLC releases: May 7, May 21, June 11, July 2, July 30, August 13
They're not going to do it like MK9. They've started work on the DLC character early this time around and they're gonna pump them out faster because DLC is far more important now.
If you're talking about DLC as a whole, then you're probably right. They seem to stop DLC support for their games in August to need to begin development on their next game.
Oh, and Tanya is coming out second. The order of release was listed in the Kombat Pack trailer.
Not just the Kombat Pack.
Even if the DLC is all out in July, my point still stands that it won't all be Day 1 DLC, so I don't know what you are getting at?
My point still stands that the Kombat Pack =/= early access to DLC characters.
Sure, but there's the whole factor of 3 variations, PER character, plus intro 3 intro lines versus every single character, 3 mirror match intro lines for the characters that DO speak (per Ed Boon), plus 2 fatalities, multiple Brutalities and other intricacies.
I doubt that it will be pumped out faster (as you imply), due to the amount of work that will need to be put into these characters, as opposed to MK9 DLC which didn't have 3 variations, intro lines, 2 Fatalities, multiple brutalities and all of the intricate stuff that's going into the MKX characters.
Yes, as a whole.
That said, though, if the Kombat Pack 1 sells well, then I could easily see a Kombat Pack II being made.
It's not out of the realm of impossibility.
Hence, why I was throwing out my guesses per original movie release dates.
My guesses are as follows, for DLC releases:
I never acted like those months were written in stone for the characters, just my guesses.
