Sure we need new characters, cause after a while it would be boring without some new content. Still I think after the 4th dlc character we won't get new ones, only costumes.

I think they will release some characters but I am also not sure about it. If ??? is Cyber Smoke than only a boss pack (especially including Motaro) would be missing to make the MK Trilogy rooster complete.

NRS will be concentrating on stage fatalities for the rest of the stages, especially for the bell tower stage fatality and alongside with this more costumes will come (MK1-3 costumes for everybody, in the end :) )

In my opinion they should give the characters more entry and victory poses, 4 entry and 4 winning poses for every one, they also could include the challenge tower poses in the other modes one entry isn't enough :)

Of course new X-rays (also 4 per character) would be great. So if they aren't going to release more characters after Rain, "Cyber-Smoke" and "Motaro" it's ok if they give more poses and x-rays to the other ones :)
 
More stage fatalities would be nice, but I don't know how technically feasible that would be. I would think that would require either new animations or re-using existing ones, and that would just make people complain the new stage fatalities were just knock offs.
 
I didn't think I would before, but now I am voting no. It's horribly obvious that Boon & Co. have no idea what the hell they're doing when it comes to online support and DLC, and I'd rather MK not become more of a laughingstock than it already is.
 
Of course, i am of the opinion that it is not necessary to withhold characters for MK10, NRS just needs to give them an introductory storyline in MK9, like they did with Skarlet, and save it's further advancement for MK10
 
Seeing as we won't see a new game for at least a year and probably alot longer, I expect tons of DLC, Probably four or 2 for each season after Summer, 2 Fall, 2 Winter and 2 Spring.

I've been waiting for this remake for the last 14 years.
The ONLY other MK I'd want to see is MK: Fire and Ice.
If they made MK: Fire and Ice, I'd be in TOTAL MK heaven.

I wouldn't need another MK fighting game, seeing as 99% of the characters that I like are in THIS game.
I'm skipping Kenshi and waiting for RAIN.
After RAIN, I'm set, as far as character go.
 
I will buy the next four no question asked :)
As long as there is yet another new character and Kai or Rekio.
Freaking Kai fights people on his hands watch this..
 
Anyone else think Wu Lae from the MK:Armageddon campaign would be a cool character to mess around with.
His clan is rival to the Lin Kuei and he uses a Scythe for a weapon. This could fall into some excellent plotline. If anyone is unsure what im talking about here is a link :) I just think his background would be dope for the MK universe.

I'd rather have NRS fix all the DLC problems. I'm almost leaning towards wanting them to release an Ultimate MK which includes all of the DLC plus adds more klassic costumes and some of the missing stages (Portal, Pit 2 & 3, Kombat Tomb, Warrior's Shrine, Palace Gates, The Bank) plus maybe an additional Story Campaign (co-op anyone?)
 
More DLC will be on the way later on after the next 2 kombatants have released. boon said he would support this game with dlc. so he must have alot planned for later on.....hopefully arena's or stage fatality's
 
NO:) We already have ALL Mortal Kombat characters including even Rain. We also have Kenshi and Kratos whom i wouldn't like to see. Please, no more these "new" guys! Or at least, don't mix them with klassic costumes, release them seperately.

Dont download them if you dont want, dont deprive other persons to get new characters just because you dont want to. If you want the costumes just dl the comp. pack.
 
At least Tanya, Khameleon, and maybe even Nitara will make me happy enough. I'll leave my other favorite characters in the next game.
 
OK, OK))) Just the question was: do we want more characters? My answer is simply "no":) They can't do everything and together, but if they continue creating DLC, I wish these were costumes, fatalities and arenas, no spending their time for characters:)

We found a common ground, I do want more costumes too, brand new ones not that dumb classics.
