I thought about that working but I refuse to pay for on-Disc DLC so I won't be downloading the skin pack.

Agree it's annoying. But be aware it's not due to a lack of compatibility packs or DLC.


I play my friend Roland all the time and we both have all DLC, packs, and updates. Yet even playing private 1 on 1, we'll get desynced when trying to use outfits the majority of the time.

I'm not sure how to delete the dlc. I've checked on "saved game utility" where there are 3 files. 1 says global game settings, 2nd says players settings and stats, 3rd says downloaded game updates. which one includes dlc files? I'm really sick of the desynching, freezes, etc.(online). ESPECIALLY WHEN BOTH ME AND MY OPP. HAS THE KLASSIC SKINS. I have no prob using skins in ladder or local vs. mode

Not sure if this will help but if you have the preorder skins and the klassic costume pack, try deleting just the preorder skins. Was having the same problem as everyone else until I did this. Just used Klassic Sub Zero 20 ranked matches in a row with only a couple desyncs. Hope this helps.

go to settings>>>memory>>>>games scroll down until you see MK file>>>>it should have everything you have downloaded so far, pre order skin, skarlet, kenshi, etc>>>delete them from there and go back to download history and download again.....if you have the skin pack 1 as well just download that and not the preorder skin.....

Could you be a little more specific please?

Lets pretend I'm really stupid. First off are you a PS3 user or a XB user? It makes a difference in terminology. To which "settings" do you refer, PS settings or MK settings? There is no option on MK game for settings.

On the main PS screen as you turn it on there are some menus to choose from: Second from the left: Settings:system update,game settings, video settings, music settings,chat settings, system settings, theme settings, date and time,power save,accesory settings, printer,display settings, sound, security, remote play settings and network settings. NOWHERE DID I SEE "MEMORY" OR "MK FILES".

Next is "Game", in between "video" and "network ":among others listed there are two that are related::Game Data Utility-showing date file was created, size and version. The other is Saved Data Utility-showing MK has 3 files--player setting(progression and stats), game settings(global game settings) and downloaded settings(downloaded settings data). NOWHERE DID I SEE "MEMORY" OR "MK FILES".

Next is the MK game itself: in "extras" it shows "downloeadable content" which only allows me to view, perchase and downloead dlc, there is nothing in the mk options menu that allows any erasing or adding extra content. NOWHERE DID I SEE "MEMORY" OR "MK FILES".

What do I need to do?

I tired deleating everything even the pre order skins and then I redownloaded them and it worked for me and my buddy for a few hours, but before when I would just delete the pack it would still desync me so try deleating all of it then redownloading it, even deleate your pre order ones. I'm an 360 user btw

I'm still not finding the dlc files anywhere on the ps3. macneil--do you mean I should delete the whole game save file from install date(4/19)?
 
I have a weird problem... I have a PS3 and I tried to get Skarlet but she is NOWHERE to be found in Downloadable Content I have downloaded Kenshi and the 2nd compatibility pack but I can't see Skarlet :(

sorry about that bro thats for the 360....i think for the PS3 you guys have to wait for the patch....
 
How do I download the new DLC content in Australia?

Is anybody able to tell me how, or direct me to a thread, that gives me information on how I can download the DLC in Australia? I ordered my copy from eBay & it came from Hong Kong, but it is in NTSC format & says "Made in Mexico" on the rear!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!

Make a US account, but the game must be from US to work, I dont know if it will work with a game from Hong Kong =/

Is the game rated by the ESRB?

It is! Rated by the ESRB on the front as Mature 17+.

This is for the Xbox 360!

You need to make a EU account for the 360 who have available the game not ban or US, buy EU points if you made EU account or US points if you made US account because they are region lock, when you add the points in the 360 put a valid EU or US postal code and location info of the country you choose to activate the payment menu (google to find). If you still have a problem and you cant download you need to connect the xbox with your pc and not direct to modem and use a program to change the IP you connect (again google or go to youtube for info, there is many) with a valid IP from the country you made the new account on 360 (US or EU). There is no other way.

PS3 =>> In the XMB menu go to GAME DATA utility above SAVE DATA in the GAME section, there is your games's data for DLC installed, no need to touch your save files.
