-Kano had a love child with Kira. but she never told him about'm.

-Shao Kahn sex up one of the slaves who had his child. He upped their slave status but she was to never tell him about his father. While Kahn was strict and tough he did teach the boy to be a fighter.

I think we'll get a protegee of Liu Kang. Someone he has trained over the years before Raiden nunchucked his ass. I think a descendant of Kitana and Liu would be a bit farfetched. I always got the impression Liu wanted to hit that but Kitana wasn't giving in :p

Something like that could work.

I also wouldn't mind a stoyline like the one with Khameleon and Reptile.
Khameleon and Reptile work together to try and restore their race, but Reptile turns on Khameleon.

Maybe they could replace Khameleon with some other female Saurian and they could try that story again.
But this time Reptile doesn't turn into an asshole and mess everything up.

Yeah, i just saw at some thread someone posting a picture of Cassie doing those moves i've mentioned, and that's the why. I got a real life and lots of things to do rather than making up stuff as Commander said. How silly. Seems like someone is in love with Cassie and i can't say anything about her, huh?!

It should be a daughter who's demanding as he is. She should be like a dominatrix wielding a chainsaw or some kind of giant blade. Infact, she should be similar to Rachel from Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden.
 
Kind of a long rant, sorry.

I had a feeling that this whole descendant thing was going to get on my nerves when it comes to "possibilities" and "guesses" and such. Like as of lately on the other sites I go on, there's been much talk about how Cassie might not be the daughter of Johnny.

Two possibilities I keep seeing is that 1.) Sonya cheated (either with Kano or they never say) or 2.) She was raped by Kano. I feel like whoever suggested option number two writes fan fiction. (I mean, a lot of times any female, ages ranged from 11-15 will have a Mary Sue and rape featured in their fan fic).

It's really annoying to see that as an actual possibility from people when I know for a fact that the writers aren't that desperate to make this game more controversial. Granted that we wouldn't see it, we would most likely hear about it, however, it's still something people are suggesting and I haven't seen one person say, "Yeah, Sonya should get raped!"

The fact that they're also saying that it should be Kano who rapes her boggles my mind because I really don't think they understand the character at all. Sure, he has said some suggestive lines throughout the years, but he's all talk. The only thing he does is kill people either for money or for personal gain. Never have I read anywhere that it states that he rapes women. We don't need to start throwing in that kind of shit just to make things more serious or whatever their reason is for suggesting it in the first place.

The other option doesn't make sense either because Sonya never struck to me as a character who would just go out and cheat on Johnny for no particular reason. I can see the romance blooming within these two characters, but I cannot see Sonya turning the other way for someone else. Also, it would make sense for two other reasons:

She inherited Johnny's abilities. Boon officially announced that she is the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade.

I dunno, I feel like ever since they introduced the whole "characters are having children," people are taking it one step beyond fandom and believing stupid stuff could happen. I get it that some people are joking, but it's getting pretty repetitive to keep seeing the same old topic and "who's next to have kids" threads pop up every so often.

At least this site has more realistic views rather than immediately thinking to rape.
 
Johnny Cage is the Father, period, end of discussion, don't even try to refute it because the kreator of MK says Johnny is the Father. Cassie Cage was born from Sonya having sex with Johnny Cage, and ONLY Johnny Cage!

While I do agree that Johnny is undoubtedly Cassie's father, I wouldn't put it past Kano to be a rapist. Kano is completely obsessed with Sonya. He wore her ponytail on a necklace in Deadly Alliance.

But rape has no place in MK imo. It may be gory and mature, but isn't exactly an HBO drama.
 
I feel like all this talk from Ed about descendants will turn out to be nothing more than a con to get us to like the new characters along with the New web series and the Prequel comics. They aren't just pushing the new blood on us, they're forcing them down our throats and It Will Backfire horribly. Apparently, they didn't learn their lesson from the PS2 era and they're trying way harder on top of that.
 
That's a pretty unfair comparison. Kotal Kahn has more creativity in his loincloth than most of the PS2 cast had all together.
 
I agree with [MENTION=9251]the_pathfinder[/MENTION], to a certain extent.
I'd hate it if the majority of the new characters on the roster end up being a bunch of Cassie Cage characters (an amalgamation of 2 classic characters), just to save space.
1 or 2 new characters being like Cassie Cage (an amalgamation of 2 previous characters)? That's fine.
If most of the new characters are like that, though, that just seems lazy, IMO.

That said, I also agree with [MENTION=4889]BBBLP[/MENTION] if most of new characters on the roster consist of Kotal Kahn, D'Vorah and Ferra / Torr type of original characters with their own moves.
I would love to see more of those types of original characters in MKX.
I mean, where the hell would characters like Kabal, Sektor, Cyrax, Kenshi, Fujin, Quan Chi, Reiko, Havik, Tanya and some of the other beloved characters (new characters at the time of their debut) be today, if we never even gave them a chance to shine?

On a serious note though, I doubt a majority of the New Characters are gonna pure descendants (atleast not just sons or daughters). They have a lot of character types they haven't even tried yet, and their presentation of Kortal, Ferra, and D'Vorah I really believe a ton of the new characters will less likely be related to existing characters. I would make sense for the MK cast to host an orgy party just fill up the roster, nor would it make sense for their family members to take their place (like Kuai Lang) under their own unique name just because that character won't be in the game.
