I'm pretty sure Kitana's natural lifespan and aging will override Liu Kang's as far as genetics are concerned. How old do you think Kitana would've been physically at the chronological age of 25? Probably still an infant, or at the very least still in diapers.

A Baraka and Mileena love child wouldn't be too far-fetched (IMO), but I don't want to think of what that poor child would look like. :laugh:
Aside from Johnny, Sonya, Mileena and Baraka, I'm having a tough time thinking of who else may have children, per se, unless some of the dead come back.
Relatives (such as cousins, siblings, nieces, etc, etc, etc, etc) for most of the other characters, seems more likely, to me.
As for descendants / ancestors, what if Kung Lao comes back as The Great Kung Lao, somewhat similar to his MK9 ending?
It would be a good explanation as to why Goro is in (IF he's in story mode), and maybe those 2 could either battle to the death, with The Great Kung Lao winning this time or put the past behind them.

Not really maybe it works more like Wolverine, Superman, or Gokus aging. You age like a normal human would, but once you hit a certain age you start to age slower and slower

I don't care about attitude and costumes.
That kind of similar stuff is expected from someone who is the child of a character.
People have told me that my voice sounds like my dad's (even though I don't hear the resemblance), but I am my own person.
Also, Cassie's costume looks nothing like Sonya's slutty MK9 costume.
Cassie has more of an appropriate costume for military personnel.
She has Johnny's attitude, glowing hands, glasses and her mother's looks.
I don't see the big deal with her having MK9 Johnny's attitude, especially if MKX Johhny takes a more serious role in MKX, which is hinted as being possibly by his MK9 ending.
I was talking about gameplay, which is what people usually complain about.
As long as as Cassie (and other MKX descendants) doesn't steal iconic special moves from the original characters / parents, the aesthetics and slight costume similarities don't matter.
Clone moves what matters, to me, and where I start to wonder whether 1 character or another should have been omitted, to begin with.

I think we can all agree that aesthetics are one thing, but having "new" characters simply be an amalgamation of older characters is rather pointless. I'm hoping there's more that differentiates her.

I think two or three descendants would be my limit. Too many would be lazy in my opinion when they can bring back old characters and make some new original characters.

It hasn't been confirmed that Cassie has those 2 moves in any gameplay videos, nor from people who have played as her, [MENTION=1]Patrick McCarron[/MENTION] and [MENTION=4805]Viking_Poodle[/MENTION].
The only thing that has been confirmed is that she feels, gameplay-wise, more like Sonya, although she is completely different.
Inspired =/= clone.
