Dat gameplay oh my god!!!!

Everyone that is out because of the new characters are just close minded. They can't keep an open mind. It's their lost. We'll be enjoying the game!
 
The three new characters look like complete garbage.

I'll still hold out hope for some better characters. But as of now, I'm inclined to stick with Ultra Street Fighter IV.
 
excuse my terrible grammar, i didn't mean the "aztec" guy as a alt.. during the fatalities the "bee lady" is fighting a subz and he looks a lil diff, might be the lighting but his mask looks like its glowing..

im gonna get the game, but i dont like how when the big guy goes to grab for his xray 1:55 mark they have the same exact animation & sound as meter burns on injustice.
 
You guys, as awesome as it looke, the new guys didnt peel my skin back..BUt im happy i didnt see any blinged out black dudes, or fat ass stryler mall cops...looks like it will be very oni related ...but JUST like mk9 im noticing a fatality trend already....just like mk9 had a million torso rips...loks lime mx is all about blowing holes in them an having the heart exposed
 
i dont mind the interactables (would rather not have them in mk) but taking exact animations AND sounds is kinda lazy.. but its minor details.

all i care about is if the game is fun. cant wait to hear more of the story, and see the rest of the roster!

boon said something about tomor being the official MK day on twitter, so im sure we will learn some more then
 
I wouldn't be worried about animations, they will change that, like they did with mk9 if you look at early footage... I'm just a little worried at the silliness of the new guys....
 
I have to say - I f****** LOVE the new Fatality font. Looks amazing!

My only complaint is in regards to the female character looking like she walked right out of Injustice. Which isn't awful... It's just not Mortal Kombat-like.
 
I'm trying to like the direction they're going with the new characters, but I just can't, except for the Aztec dude. I'm still going to keep an open mind, but it really does look like Injustice with Blood and Gore. It's a trailer though, so I'll wait to hear what the big man himself says over the next three days.
 
As of right now it doesn't feel like Mortal Kombat to me. Maybe that will change when we know more about the story and new characters backgrounds.

As it is am I the only one that is kind of hoping this is a one off? Like a Twisted Metal Black. A darker grittier stand along story? Dark gritty MK could be awesome. I am just such a fan of the storyline and characters from MK-MK4 that I hope they don't lose what made them special. MK9 nailed it. My only complaint was no friendships. Other than that perfection.

Screw that. I want the damn series to actually progress for once and go forward. MK9 was nice but it was, to me, just for reboot purposes and to send off the nostalgia train. Now we should be trying to advance the series like MKDA/MKD were doing. I'd be pissed if MKX is a "one off" after MK9 rebooted everything and set us back. Set us back and then stall everything for a stand alone? How about no
