Comp. packs mandatory now?

i use kratos and don't want freddy he's ok but not my view of what a fighter should be. i'm not casual either i just love kratos as a character and as a fighter.

i'm not buying freddy but i'm not going to quit because it tho. every one is entitled to play who they want who are we to say/make fun, because their opinion is different?
 
seems a bit BS they waited til now to do that. it was fine if rain, kenshi, or skarlet weren't playable online, but since Freddy is coming out. MANDATORY. just my personal gripe on the look of this situation. I think its good they are making it required, just feels a little odd they wait til Freddy to do so.

may be it's new patch technology like the hot fixes were.

Another bad joke from NRS, Freddy comp. pack is mandatory but Rain, Skarlet and Kenshi arent?... god, I have no problem with mandatory packs but make ALL of them mandatory...

if it fixes online then im all for it. i hate how sometimes i wanna play as rain...but the person i am playing against didnt download the damn pack so i cant! or didn't download outfits... it really wouldn't bother me if i didn't PAY for it.
 
To be honest I wasnt going to get the compatibility pack because i dont like the costumes that come with it.. i was very disappointed with the choices they made =/

As far as i know getting the Comp Pack does not make the character from those packs appear in your arcade ladder, i play offline only but i connect to xlive just to get the free costumes and i have never played against Kenshi or Rain on my arcade ladders ever, so i wouldn't worry about that if you want the costumes then you can DL the CP.

Why i didn't mention Skarlet is cuz i got her for free by DLing the first comp pack right when it came out for xlive and i just got her for no reason lol, i think it was a glitch or something.

Umm.... yes you can. The only character that is banned from tournaments from now on is still Kratos. And that isn't because he's a guest character, its because he's not on both systems.
