Civic advertisements in mk9

Has anyone noticed the new Civic Ad's in Mortal Kombat on stages such as
The rooftop & the subway? "To Each Their Own".
Here is the commercial the Ad's are hinting about,
 
Can you blame them? Its extremely cost productive to throw some ads into movies and games. Most gamers never stop to think about how much games cost to make. Add a shit load of marketing costs on top of all the money they've already spent and it makes sense to do this. Alot of older syndicated shows are trying a new type of advertising where they comp in new products into older shows. When costs are so high to produce a product they have to try to put themselves into the black as much as possible before release and ads help them do that. Marketing costs are outrageous thats why alot of companys,musicians and film makers are going the direct to fan route now adays. Cutting out all the crippling costs that come with marketing and what not.
 
It's wear "Ninja Mime" use to be, pretty much everywhere in a MK stage that has any ad posters or billboards.
If you don't have Internet Connection though I'm guessing you won't see them.
 
Weird, I just turned on MK right now, And they are not their anymore. I guess they took them down.
I kinda like the adds, Ninja Mime gets kinda boring, on the rooftop they had a picture of a Mexican wrestler, lol.

The ads are in the following locations:
  • Rooftop (Day): Right side of the Arena on a raised platform, and the left side of the Arena attached to a water tower.
  • Street: Left side of the Arena resting on some rubble.
  • Subway: Spread out along the back wall.

It wasn't as bad as it sounds - the girls were wearing bikinis in the Lynx ads. It was still distracting, though... LOL
 
Makes the game more realistic, doesn't it? Not the first time it's happened in a game, either,
 
Ninja Mime was such a good movie. I camped outside the movie theater for days! Then I saw Johnny Cage! I got his autograph!

Wow I really want to see these Ad's now! I'm really tired of the Silent but Deadly, Ninja Mime lol.
 
I used to get this one in the Subway stage:

Can't recall if that's the exact one, but it was definitely a McDonald's Mates meal ad. I only get Ninja Mime now though. Really weird that an Aussie ad was in there, considering I have a US copy. Must be based on IP address or something.
