Character Crisis

Yeah, I think I've settled with Sub-Zero as my main, thus far, but I'm also trying to also get better with Kotal.
I'm not too wild about Kotal's Sun God variation, at the moment, but War God and Blood God seem to interest me more.
Who knows, though?
For me, it may be like MK9 where I pick up someone I didn't expect, and use them for online (i.e. - Nightwolf and Rain).

I mainly want to just use 1 or 2 (MAX) characters online, with a comfortable feel on all 3 variations of those 2 characters.

Honestly dude, you should drop Sub and Scorpion and focus on Mileena right now. Personally, I think it's way too early to be thinking about a secondary. New tech for each variation is coming out at a rapid pace. Keeping up is going to be difficult if you play with multiple characters.

You're right, there's no post in learning like 3 other character when I haven't figured Mileena out.

I have the same problem [MENTION=10998]iViTal[/MENTION] has.

Secondary issues. Like Sub is my main hands down but Kano is a different story. I did play this character even after he was nerfed in MK9 and I had fun doing so. That being said, I feel incomplete using Kano. Like I want to use Choke in all of my combos but Commado is the only variation with it or I want to use his f+2, 1, 2 knife string but have to use Cutthroat to use it.

I think for now I want to get good with Cybernetic and Commado variation but the lack of overhead moves are kinda killing me. I'll get use to it.

I do and did say that I was gonna learn Erron but I'll do that next week when I have more practice with both Sub and Kano
 
Dude, you have to check out Arturo's Cybernetic Kano. It's so funking good, I can't post videos because of Talpatalk (Too lazy), but it's mad good in neutral.

The only crisis I have is that it made me like characters I hated playing in the past.

Sonya has some wicked combos in her Demolition variation. So does Kitana with her Assassin. I'm going to be trying Kano and Reptile soon.
 
I've never been a fan of Kano, but 5 minutes with his Cutthroat variation totally changed my mind.

I've only just started learning the game. So being able to pull off a 1 meter, no corner, 43% combo reliably was amazing.
 
There are so many fun characters to play in MKX that I had some trouble too. I've settled on Mileena and Jacqui, but I'm playing them both pretty equally rather than having a main.
 
Sub-Zero is my main so far. I'm bouncing between Kenshi, Reptile, and Quan Chi at the moment. I feel like Kenshi is overall the best out of those. Playing as Quan Chi feels really good, but he's kind of set-up required to do well.
 
Before the game came out I thought I would main my 3 favourite characters Quan Chi, Shinnok, Ermac. But since the game has been released I've had a hard time enjoying Ermac, Shinnok, still trying to learn Quan Chi. I'm still not sure who my #1 main will be though been playing with Kano, Jax, Ferra/Torr, Quan Chi and Kotal Kahn, with a little bit of Sonya. I think Kano is my favourite to use so far.
 
I love how people are saying how much they love Jacqui when 3 weeks ago before the game had even come out she was "the worst character in MK history"
 
I thought for sure my main was going to be Kotal or Erron Black. I played with a few other characters, and I found Im much better with Mileena than Erron. My Kotal is horrible lol
 
Im still trying to decide too. So far I enjoy Sub Zero, Kung Lao, Cassie, Kung Jing, Erron Black, Torr, and surprisingly Ermac. Millena is pretty good too.

I don't mean to ruffle any feathers but she's a boring character. Her presence in story mode was monotonous and uninspiring. She just happens to have good gameplay.
 
Take liu kang and bicycle fist everyone. Yes I said bicycle fist and I'm sticking with it ^^. Someone on the kombat kast once said it :D

Yes, we get it, lots of people think she's boring. Blah blah blah. Clearly we don't agree. Enough already -- the hate for this character is *absurd*.
 
Jacqui's looks are no more generic than Johnny Cage or Liu Kang's has been for years and years. MK at it's bare bones is about earth realm warriors defending against invasion from other realm thru kombat. She's an earth realm warrior. There are people here wishing Johnny cage had his tuxedo back, yet Jacqui look generic. She a black female wearing her natural hair, that alone makes here unique. NOt blue eyes(elena) not white hair (storm). Not liking her design is fine but by no means is it worse than many others in MK.
