Urggh, Kim is a pretty girl but she has a ugly crying face. How is that even possible?

Just like the MK9 females are hot masked and fugly unmasked. Simple.

Most chicks do look ugly when they cry.
It's different with men, though.

Beautiful.

That's why no one should ever make a lady cry (Unless it's with laughter).

No one should ever make anyone cry. I don't see what having a vagina has to do with anything.

That being said, majority of people look absolutely hideous when they are crying. Kim isn't exactly 'stunning', either. I guess that's just my personal opinion.

I'm having the most fun with Sub-Zero, since I finally got a rush-down Sub-Zero in this game, but Kotal Kahn, Takeda and Raiden are in close 2nd.
I have to try out more of Kotal's Blood God variation before I can really decide, though.

I probably enjoying playing as Sonya the most. She's fast, she has insane mix-ups, stylish combos, and her parries (especially enhanced) are rewarding & extremely satisfying to execute.

Everyone's been talking crap about Kotal... talking about how sluggish his movement is, how slow his attacks are and the lack of tools in his abilities... What can you say about Kotal? What did you liked about him?

Honestly, I felt the same way with Mileena the first few days and then Critical broke her down for me and since then I've been in the Lab testing things. I'm having a "Secondary Character Crisis", Playing lame with GM Subz becomes boring and Scorpion is cool and all but his was one of my mains in MK9 so I want to try someone else. I'm leaning more towards Takeda and Sonya as of now, but I hate spending time with my secondary when there's more to explore with Mileena. I've yet to breakdown Ethereal, and I'm slowly transitioning from Ravenous to Piercing so I have to learn new combos, the ranges on her new normals and their frame data compared to Ravenous.

The people who say that Kotal is sluggish probably either (a) hate zoning characters or (b) hate using power characters.
Kotal is BOTH of these things.
I'm not great with Kotal, YET ;), but I can easily see how Kotal in the right hands of someone who knows how to use him well enough can be deadly.
Is he slower than Takeda? Yes, but Takeda also has different footsies than Kotal and feels more rush-down, to me.
Kotal's playstyle isn't bad, by any means, it just depends what you're looking for in a character and how that character fits with how you play.

Honestly dude, you should drop Sub and Scorpion and focus on Mileena right now. Personally, I think it's way too early to be thinking about a secondary. New tech for each variation is coming out at a rapid pace. Keeping up is going to be difficult if you play with multiple characters.

All her basic combos carry over to all variations. Piercing gains 2 unique combos (Sadistic Ways, Double Impale). Other than that and the unique specials, she's basically the same.

I've settled with Johnny Cage as my main. I really want to learn to use Kotal or Ferra/Torr as well.

Admittedly I've only really tried 3-4 characters so far, but Jax's Wrestler variation looks hard as hell. Is that seeing much use online? I tried to do it in a couple of AI fights but just ended up doing his usual combos; there's some insane (for me) combo sequences for those air grabs and stuff. Pumped Up seems like a much safer bet.

No, I know that lol. I'm talking about the more technical stuff
