She moves so acrobatic and elegantly. She even has Jade's "Pole Vault" move in her Dragon Naginata variation, where she flips upwards in a flip kick, but then stands on top of the polearm. I wonder what neat tricks she can do from there.
[MENTION=5028]Commander[/MENTION] pointed out that there's no sign of her Neckbreaker move, her X-Ray move seems to have her monkey-flip throw from MKD, but with her breaking the opponent's neck like that. That, and her flames are like Scorpion's, but with purple corona, as pointed out by [MENTION=20359]Imperatrix Sindel[/MENTION]. I had personally hoped for purple flames through and through, but I'm fine with it as it is.
Can't wait for the stream or for tomorrow when she is released!

I notice No Thigh-to-neck X-Ray. Guess even though she's all about legs in this game, they decided to keep the best unique leg move out.

She throws fireballs and wields the weapons with her hands, but otherwise, there's ALOT of kicking! And I absolutely love that!

A shame to disarrange that pretty face.
Wow, if Mr. Ice didn't add that iconic line, imagine the other iconic lines she has that he didn't add.
Can't wait to see all of her intros!
Her victory pose looks like a bunch of flipping, could be interesting.
The edenian drill fatality is what's got me. Holy damn.

Reminds me of Jade in her chapter when she's dissing Baraka and Sheeva.
"You're an excellent guard dog, Baraka, but you must learn to heel."
Also, she has an all new special move. I noticed she does an upper dash while on fire, and she can do it while in air as well, though dashing forward instead. Reminds me of Cinder from Killer Instinct.

I also notice she has a misty teleport type move, that's something new I'm excited about.
She looks very top tier.
I wonder what other specials she has now.

Teleport? I think you might mean the fire dash special I was talking about too. The one where she dashes upwards, leaving a firetrail behind her, right?

That's more of a DP if you ask me, looks like it could be used to stop people from pressuring you on wake up. It'll only be a good wake up if it had armor enhanced. Looks like you get a free combo with it as well.
What are her variation cues? I can't figure them out

LOL.Tanya looks fun to play with after watching that trailer. Glad you fans of hers are all happy, I swear the hype for her has been higher than the hype for the actual game (for the Tanya fans)!

Yeah, it does have a DP (lololol) quality over it, kinda like Jax's knee.
- Pyromancer: tribal fire tattoos on her body that seem to glow slightly.
- Kobu Jutsu: Her Tonfa Blades.
- Dragon Naginata: An extendable naginata on her back.

That's life today. Solemnly does it happen someone invents something completely original. Inspiration and ideas are taken from other places all the time, and I have no problem with that, as long it isn't directly copied from others.
So yes, Tanya has a fireball like so many others, a downwards fireball like Sindel had in MK3, a corkscrew kick like Cammy from Street Fighter, a split flip kick like Chun Li from Street Fighter, a fire dash like Cinder from Killer Instinct, tonfas (though bladed) like Orchid from Killer Instinct 2, a naginata like Hotaru which was already a polearm like Jade's, and so on and so forth.
But that's alright, imo. Combined into one character, it makes Tanya an awesome and multi-talented character - an acrobatic sorceress who has mastered several weapons. She can keep her opponent at bay with her fireballs, she can fight up-close in melee range with the tonfa blades and kicks, and she can even fight mid-range with her naginata.
And unlike Kung Jin who seems to have too much cramped together, they are split up in each variation so it doesn't feel like she has an over-abundance of tools.
Of course we will learn more about how her gameplay and variations are in the stream.

Hehe, I wouldn't mind that. Chun Li is cool. She doesn't have alot of zoning options though, she's more rushdown than anything. I love her Spinning Bird Kick and her Spinning Air Kick. Would love it if Tanya (or Jade, should she return in the future) had those.
