dude first mk is full of murderers and a men that cut up people to make other people. and ur talking about a game were it's main stay is hacking people up and killing them for sport.

oh and dude it's a "VIDEO GAME " has kno effect on ur real life ur taking this way to seriously.

Hey buddy, have you ever played skin the cat?

I'm happy that they've got Freddy in the mix, I am slighty disapointed that he doesn't talk but it's still cool that he's in the game.

As for the people who don't like guest characters, remember that MK started out it's life as Guest game with Jean Claude Van Dam as the star but because of some behind the scenes stuff, Johnny Cage was just a simple cut and paste stand in. Think about that, your basically got a guest character any time Johnny Cage is in a game because he's just Van Dam with a different name.
 
An idea for the people who say (and I agree with) that Freddy is out of place in MK. I agree wholeheartedly with it, but if you've got a creative and open mind, you can work him in. All Freddy's fights will take place in the dream realm he rules. Those who enter usually dies, right? The player playing Freddy will of course win, and the victim is dead.

Even most of the MK characters have to sleep sometime....

The most ridiculous post of the year awards needs look no further.

JK is part of the Mortal Kombat universe and has a story. Why even bother with stories if you add ridiculous nonsence like Freddy. May as well go back to MK v DC - the bad old days of MK being a laughiung stock.

Something tells me that if Van Damme were actually in MK, he may not have gone the distance... he barely survived the Winter! :P

Emm, if I remember right, MK vs. DC did have a good story and If I'm not mistaken, Was critically well received and was the best selling mk game since Deadly Alliance. Sure the fatalities weren’t the best but I hardly say it was a laughing stock. Now Mk Gold and Special Forces is another story.

Now as for you’re, "The most ridiculous post of the year awards" comment. If you don't like what I have to say then that is fine, I don't mined criticism. Just don't be as harsh or you might get yourself into trouble like P53.

Not too bad of a story in my opinion. Based off this, I'm thinking his ladder ending will be really good.

Now i can Rest Easy knowing why he has 2 Claws, but then again I never cared in the first place, I thought it was a lil' too awesome :)
