Just to ask -- how the hell does people still spell Soul CalibEr when in the box you have Soul Calibur in giant letters? Really asking, I can't understand.

You've already given them the majority of the money they are possibly going to give them as of now; what do they care?

Also, what will do you when Sareena and Tanya come into the game? You'll have to buy a whole nother disc.

Really? Just let it go. How does this surprise you at all? Have we forgotten about Kratos?

This doesn't RUIN the game. Yeah, it's stupid and both Kratos and Freddy don't belong, but this is still the best MK game out there.

It's pointless as most people seem not to have the capacity for reason.

It's obviously fine to hate Freddy and not download the character, but all this **** Boon, **** you guys that love Freddy etc makes it embarrasing to be a MK fan. You got three other DLC MK warriors and free costumes, it's no reason to blow up to this level, especially since we didn't get Crash Bandicoot.

I'm talking about the people who wont download the pack so other people can't use him.
 
Wow, the amount of Freddy hate in this thread is ridicolus. I know I probably spelled that wrong, but I don't care. So what if its Freddy? Alot of people have wanted to see him a fighting game ever since that Terrordome game came out. While, I personally think Jason should have been put in instead of Freddy, we still got another iconic charecther. Don't you guys think this will attract more players to MK? More horror fans, gore fans, slasher fans, and even the downright Team Freddy fan! Hell, if we are lucky he might even incorperate Jason into his story. Maybe he defeats Jason in this one, and somehow Shao Khan thinking Freddy is a decent warrior for being able to take down Jason, and his hellfire and dream powers, he convinces Freddy to join him, only to eventually betray him and thats why Freddy fights.

What I would love in Freddy's ending is that he somehow gets screwed over and before he dies, Shao Khan ressurects Jason but increases his power 5 times higher than Freddy. The ending then stops with a picture of Freddy and Super-Jason charging at eachother.

But, now I must addres how Freddy would screw up the story by being in thier.
A horror themed fighter would be great. I mean like slashers hell why not thow in other scary stuff like monsters (Darkstalkers does not count seeing as is closer to hentai porn than actuall horror)

I know everyone is gonna freak out, i want this mk to be only mk blah blah. I dont take things super serious its dlc you dont have to, and yes i think it would be a great dlc addition. Im just imagining my friends freaking out over the whole thing, that to me is more important than some PURE mk and besides its DLC.

MK IS FUN. It dosent take itself to seriously this isnt ****ing theater. Why you people cant wrap your head around that blows my mind, its been this way before I could even talk.

Halloween themed dlc, why not? LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE
 
Meh, i reflected a bit over this and came to a conclusion. I think it initially bothered me because it seemed like another "screw the loyal fans, let's feed the braindead, consumer casual fanabase!" move by NRS (which it probably is, with the aid of WB's giant, industrial phallus shoved down MKs throat).

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT:

I made a complex mathematical algorithm to find solace:

Freddy + MK= Profit, and Profit + MK= more DLC.

so yea. :) plus the thought of Freddy in MK makes me laugh every time so go Freddy! :p

lol, dude, one thing has not to do with another .... if you get stressful and irritated with NRS decision, it's your right, but, this shows that you are giving matter for a stuff that doesn't need to .... while you complain about Freddy coming, NRS don't give a shit about it, neither WB or Ed Boon, so, you see that the decision is made it, just live throught that.

Supporting Skarlet does not mean I should suddenly hate Freddy, and just send time bombs addressed to Ed Boon's office ...... lol ! I'm just OK with Freddy, because I don't take him serious to the point of allowing his presence in the game **** off and hurt my day, so, I'm not a MK fanboy slave from the franchise, to the point of being a fanatic .... I'm free from any MK-ish addiction, got that ?

This way, so, the game continues the same to me : I can play with the same characters that I played before Freddy, and meeting some Freddy players online , lol, what's the problem ? IMO, none.

Life is so short to give importance for such thing like this ..... totally worthless feeling affected by Freddy Krueger presence in MK.

Exclusive TO YOU, because you have a 360, and probably feel like NRS owes you something for not giving you a guest character.

Trust me bro, if I had the $$$ I'd get an Xbox360 (aside from my PS3) just for MK, so that I'd never have to see that ***hole in MK.

They won't care. But why should I keep a game which has been profoundly ruined for me. Yeah, I guess, I could get a couple of bucks at Gamestop or Book-Off for it...

Most hardcore fans will get him and 80% of the cassual players will buy him too, or already did (season pass).
That would be more or less 75% of the costumers, so, yeah it's a good strategy.
Also, good sells=more DLC=everyone pleased=what's the problem?

They really ruined the game by putting Freddy in? Sigh, if Robert Englund was dead he would be rolling in his grave. Honestly, if your not gonna get Freddy, why complain? He is not on YOUR disc and since your NOT going to download him, he won't taint your precious game. But sure, if you want to be a boycotter like the others, then go right and ahead and sell it. Won't stop the rest of the fans like Back, right,left, right and Bararka from downloading Freddy.

Oh, I can't imagine what you would do to the disc if Jason was introduced as a DLC. But, I might not want to know.
