makes me wonder why not just make a separate game then? if the idea is so popular, why not.

Why are you complaining? At least you have an exclusive character. Freddy's coming to stay and I think you should deal with it, since Jason is coming as well.

Freddy is iconic at least, people of many generations have been scared of him at least once in their life. Now Kratos on the otherhand, is nothing more than a fanboy character that zit faced 13 year old boys jack off to. Same with master chief. So things could have been alot worse.

It's not just their community, it's any community with a fanbase. If you get a group to love a certain series there is almost guaranteed to be on people who isn't open to change or new things, and it's unfortunate to see.

well mk moved to 3d in mk4, and that was just a trendy mistake seeing how everyone and their dog was moving to 3d.
and the characters for the most part sucked ass in the 3D games.

but mk i back to its good self, it just has a few flaws now(guests characters, horrible online)
 
If they can learn Capcom's mercenary ways to have your wallets with guest characters, I'm sure they can learn how to do a proper online server like in SFIV (and it's thousands of variations).

Skarlett was just a terrible character.

Kenshi was such a ****ing bore, everything about him is just bland. Plus I hate fighting defensively.

And Rain just doesn't fit my style.


The Kruegster looks fast and unforgiving.

Im glad you just said Rain doesnt fit your style unlike all the other ones that say "he sucks" just because they cant connect waterball with lightning lol

  • If greedy sell-out Boon makes the compatibility pack mandatory, just quit whenever your opponent chooses the pedophile!
 
For those of you who hate the FK DLC...

I for one am not a fan of the crossover stuff and think MK is cool on its own. Kratos or FK as a secret hidden character fight hidden deep in the game would be awesome.... a consistent selectable character being playable?? No. I like pure MK.

But with that being said, I don't mind him being DLC. JUST DON'T DL HIM if you like pure MK, no need to get all anti-NRS. Get the comp pack with the skins and most likely we'll at least get one more skins pack to work with later. He is optional. I for one don't mind our MK character selection at this point. We have the greatest fighters in game with the exception of cyborg smoke (though I hear he is coming as a skin BETTER BE WITH TRIDENT!!!! IMPORTANT!!!).

FK does not change my opinion of NRS. They gave us a great game that I love and hopefully people that love pure MK will either support NRS and buy the DLC and not use FK or don't dl it.

I agree to this, but there have been tons of these threads, and they were all locked, the Haters can and will continue to hate on freddy, unlike me. I've already been hated on just for being a freddy fan lol, But It wont make them stop, posting threads like this tells the 'boycotters' to speed it up, They understand they dont have to download it, they're just butthurt :P

If your beef is with Boon, then why "punish" the fans?


Your ass must be sore as hell if you go out of your way to make sure you don't have Nightmares ;)

I remember they even try to boycott RE5 because they said it had black people as zombies. It was set to Africa what did they except to have, zombie elephants and monkeys.

Yeah, a pure mk dream is gone forever in my mind, I could. Tolerae kratos, but freddy kruger? I mean this is as bd as darth vader and yoda in soul caliber. I guess in mk10 we will see C3PO, Nathan Drake and Starscream.
