poor Baraka is still underpowered and freddy comes in and steals the "slasher guy" title from him and will most likely blow him away power-wise

why do they hate thier own characters so much, yet will make a guest so much better?
and before you try to argue, would they really make this big guest even worse than the already worst character?

he's got a teleport, so he looks like hes already better than Baraka, this whole idea is bleh

I'll admit, my first reaction was that of pure RAGE, but I suppose that, as far as guest characters go, I'm glad it's Freddy. That goes saying I am *hugely* against guest kombatants.
So long as there are more DLCs, and there are NO MORE GUEST CHARACTERS, I will be happy. I just don't want to play Freddy online, the same way I am glad I will never encounter Kratos.
 
Just look at Freddy and tell me he doesn't have the MK look! Enjoys killing, uglier than Baraka, bladed glove and his skin looks like krisp bacon. Damn, now I'm hungry.

You need to realize that overall few people could give a shit less about this "pure" MK crap.

We like to play a badass fighting game where you kill people. We don't care about having an all MK roster. We care about having fun, and kicking ass.

While people here might be raging and crying over Freddy, many many more are saying **** YEAH FREDDY! outside of these forums.

This will be a great move on NRS's part and be a great thing for Mortal Kombat overall.

Not really. Go to the official FB thread and you see the same mix of people that are flaming..
 
As of right now, I'm just sticking with the compatibility pack. I think I'll probably pick him up sometime in the future... like around Halloween or so. :p
