MK11's new hero (protagonist)?

I still don't get how people finds that offensive when playing a game that brutally destroys humans in the worse possible way. If that is the only thing that disturbs you, I don't know what to say other than maybe grow thicker skin?

FYI, you are talking to someone who really doesn't care a player farts. It got old for sure, but in the end, it was his character, and the developers thought he should have had that kind of humor. Was it wrong for them? Absolutely not since he's basically a stereotype. If toilet humor bothers people so badly, really, grow thicker skin. He's not the only character that puked in the series.

Noob Saibot's X-Ray = hitting the opponent so hard that they involuntarily vomit their stomach acids.
Bo Rai Cho = Joke character farting and puking on command, as special moves, which are terrible toilet humor.

Alex was a BUST as the Hero of SF3. So were Shujinko and Taven in Deception and Armageddon, respectively.

The ONLY rookie that has EVER been a success as the Hero is Jin Kazama.

So... wtf do they have to do with the 4 new heroes. Cassie and co are not bad characters Just continue to build them instead of creating a new hero

The fact that they were given top billing as rookies. Only veterans are entitled to top billing.

"Continuing to build them" means forcing them to carry Scorpion and Sub-Zero's luggage for 3 games.

Damn right, because they are the Ryu and Ken of Mortal Kombat. Without them, Cassie, Jaqcui, Kung Jin, and Takeda would be flipping burgers at McDonald's for minimum wage.

Just because they are the Ryu and Ken of Mk doesnt automatically give them the right to be the new heroes. Scorpion and Sub-Zero are not hero material. Scorpion even proved that in Mkx when his anger cost any chance of bring the revenants back to life knowing damn well what its like to be under Quan Chis control. Sub-Zero I can say would be a better hero over Scorp but thats about it. Dont get me wrong I like the idea that both of them lead a ninja clan that will defend earthrealm but as the main hero (like Liu and the great kung lao) It would be dumb. maybe if they bring Fire and Ice back from the dead I'll be cool with them being the main heroes in their own side story

You're conflating hero with protagonist. Compelling protagonists are rarely heroes, they're much more often flawed anti-heroes who struggle with, and are at times overcome by, their own selfish motivations.

Scorpion makes for a shitty hero (because that ruins what we like about Scorpion), but he could be a very compelling protagonist.

One must learn to ignore Tarkatan Trash. Either that or use funny gifs to respond to him. It's nice to see people being realistic to the potential of Cassie and co. Seriously how is a story is suppose to progress is the same characters are always in the spotlight? A new generation, new heroes respectively. Very unfortunate some people fail the grasp that concept
