Which Characters are Waste of Slots?

A real wasted slot? Kinda difficult to say, but if I have to its Mileena, well she dies anyway so MKXI will have no Mileena, seen she dies a most brutal death lol

I hate Liu Kang! he shouldn't be on the rooster cuz im an entitled b!tch who thinks the world revolve around me!

Seriously, tough, there can't be wasted slots, just some we dislike.
 
I haven't played the story yet, but i'm going to say based on what I've seen/read of the few I've done so far even though i'm a fan of two of the three characters i'm going to say, I still feel like they are wasted currently. And they are reptile(whom I've always loved), Kitana, and liu kang. I just feel like rain should have a spot. ESPECIALLY now, considering he has voicework, a new model, a moveset, it just feels stupid that he's not in the game. I refuse to pay for rain again. So if I have to i'm just not going to. And to me, reptile has always been this minion that is in the story just to push fights. He's fun to play but he's kind of irrelevant to the story and at least rain has a spot this time.

And I don't like liu kang. But I was open to having him if he was meaningful. If he had a purpose. And in this one he just seems to not have one. Same goes for kitana but I am fine with her. I don't know. I'm really just super salty that rain is going to miss out on another game and he's actually in this one at the beginning. What the hell's the problem with rain? He's been differentiated to where I don't consider him a ninja. Is that why? because they don't want people to say there's so many ninjas in the game? I don't know man i'm just upset.

Liu Kang, Kitana and Kung Lao seem like wasted slots since they never stop being revenants or do anything important in the story as far as I know

Still, they look fun to play as, so I won't complain.

Liu Kang and Kitana should have been Fujin and Tanya. The unlockable should have been Reiko, Shinnok replacing Ermac.
 
Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Kitana shouldn't have been in the game over Tanya, Rain and Fujin. You'll soon know why.
 
Im surprised people would want Ermac out but they are okay with Sonya being in the game lol. They could have gave that to Cassie. Johnny is okay with me but why does Sonya have to be in?
Im not saying story wise but gameplay wise. Its obvious they just wont let certain characters have their own goals. But Sonya moves could have went to Cassie, Cassie variations are not that good. She has a taunt as a move... cmon man. Characters like Ermac, Reptile, and maybe D'vorah need to have their own goals. Ermac is falling apart, why cant they give him the job of finding a new host?. Why not have D'vorah help Reptile or even make a new race LOL. 3 cage members is just ridiculous when we could have more characters with powers. Hell even Rain looked dope as hell but he is NPC? cmon. And Kabal, why kill Kabal in MK9? He could have joined the black dragon again and try to kill Kinlamero.

Sonya is the very first female of Mortal Kombat and she plays a vital role in the story, so why shouldn't she be in? Ermac is completely irrelevant & serves absolutely no purpose.

You did not read the part where i said gameplay wise. The devs could do much more with a character like Ermac. Sonya is the first female thats fine, But she is not amazing. What is it with you and female characters??
Most people would replace her with a character with powers. Another military chick who uses a gun. She serves what purpose exactly? shes just there... They did not NEED her in that chopper scene. Is she just here to get knocked out all the time?

Sonya uses a gun? It's pretty clear that you're incredibly biased & you have no idea what you're talking about.
