Isn't Kahn just a title? Shao and Kotal are their real names
 
Am i the only one who would have been super stoked to have moleena be the big bad. She popular, and absolutely deserving of the slot. A female big bad is also something the series could use.

When we first got the story trailer, I assumed she was the big bad.
I'm a guy who loves the females in fighting games much more than the males, so you know I'd be more than 100% for this.
But hey, be glad we're not getting Liu Kang as the main protagonist again.
At least this time around, We have a female hero of the game, Cassie.
Annoying , but still a female protag. So I'm happy.
 
Now that im actually watching this, i appreciate that the villains seem more politically motivated than cartoonishly evil. Props to the writers for that.

The outworld civil war stuff is so much more interesting than the spec ops line though.
 
Sonya and Cassie evidently have some family issues they don't want to talk about.
I feel like the 'good guys' side will bore me so much though. The side with Tanya is the only side I wanna see.

The outworld stuff is surprisngly character driven, the SF stuff is really distant and clustered. I don't really know or care about any of those heroes, but I can sympathize with Tanya and Mileena, even Kotal and D'Vorrah. You would think they had different people writing each of those portions, because the quality is so drastically different.
 
He unlocked Dvorahs alt in the krypt but he didnt examine it very long so I couldnt screen cap.

Since I didn't watch the amazon stream and got up now... Was there something new shown on the stream or generally leaked except Goro or the storymode? Some new Fatalities, Brutalities etc?
 
- So, the Asian woman at the refugee camp is indeed Li Mei.
- There's something called the Reiko Accord which appears to be a non-aggression treaty between Earthrealm and Outworld.
- And Frost is in the game as an NPC.

Well, this is getting more and more interesting.
