Btw, the last fight in Kung Jin's chapter is against Kotal. They do a trial by combat. Jin wins. Kotal asks him to give him an honorable death, but Jin spares him.

I find it funny how Cassie wont let D'Vroah kill Tanya and Rain, but Cassie herself disemboweled Mavado with his own hookswords.

The most solid they did him was when he was the one that ripped off jax's arms. Ermac got to have a lasting impact. Also they let him live, and be in this game which is more than i could have hoped seeing as more recognizable faces didnt make the cut.

Edit, also they gave him the best fatality in the game if not of all time.... That one is... Just so crazy

As far as the story goes, My best hope is that they can equal the moment with Jax and maybe give him a cool ladder ending.

I just think it's pretty depressingly funny that they gave Tanya more screen time, lines, and importance to the story so far than him, and she wasn't even on the main roster.
^That being said, I think that Ermac will have a pretty important role later in the story.
But I thought the same thing about Baraka in MK2011 and well .. look how that turned out.
We'll see.

I think Jacqui will beat up Ermac to accomplish what her father couldnt and Honor him or she could brag about it.

Lol wow, i already think Jacqui is one of the lamest characters ever... If she kills Ermac I will be so pissed. But i can see that happening. If theyre gonna kill him, at least let someone cool do it, jesus.

Thatd be like if Darrius took down Raiden or something,
 
Hey to everyone wondering if Kotal is blue or if that is just paint or if the osh tek people are actually blue or not. I can tell you inface he and his people are blue how I know is basically through historical references. Obviously he is Mayan inspired, and as well a blood god, which I found really neat Boon really does his homework on mythology. You see the myth goes you have to forgive me I haven't read the myth in a while, but you can find it easily enough, there was literally in their mythology a blue man that they await for his return as he helped them fight off enemies and such, they also worship him. So with that mythology in mind you can easily come to the assumption that he and his people are blue. Why would they include all of that Mayan inspired stuff, but not include Kotal being blue. In the Mayan legend he was a tall blueish/greyish blonde being btw I found that interesting as that relates to some of the studies I do, so that is why I remembered it.

I dont see her killing Ermac though. The good guys rarely kill anyone they beat in a fight.

Do gotta say, I'm more than glad that they bring back the legacy of Tanya's Kobu Jitsu in MKX. Hope she uses it in her moves.

You know I just had a thought, this could be the ultimate troll move by Boon. Technically in name only he is a returning character get it Kahn? But not the Shao Kahn we know, hence the surprise Kotal Kahn. Which would work in that statement as a surprise returning character. I just thought of that, I hope I am wrong though seriously I do.
