SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

I don't care too. I think Kotal Kahn is awesome for lots of things, this dinosaur is just something to add to the scene (was cool), but nothing main.

Anyway, did you guys notice how Kotal is using the blood magic at his will?

I know Raiden did it, but was just for a moment.

Well, Fox wasn't that lucky

I guess I'm not like the rest of you boys. You all like those horror icons, Predator, Aliens, dinosaurs etc. I don't care about those things.
Nothing wrong with that. Since MK is so synonymous with the 90s, I'm not surprised there are so many fans of those films on here.

I don't like the horror icons, though. Trash genre of movies.

Well Raiden is a god, Kotal is a blue guy that smashes skulls with one hand while drinking from a heart with the other, Fox was just a young human, our race is usually weak on fiction.

It's like the Guardians of the Galaxy and the orb, only powerful beings could take the orb and feed from its power, the weak would explode into an energy blast.

As far a horror films that are also legitimately quality films. That is probably more accurate.

But that also applies to pretty much every genre of movie as well.

Being a shameless fan of superhero/supernatural movies, I know what you mean. Catwoman with Halle Berry, Elektra with Jennifer Garner, Ultraviolet with Milla Jovovich... All considered bad by critiques, but I love them.

I know they are bad movies though, and I'm not pretending otherwise. But it's come to my attention that alot of horror flick fans and fans of Aliens and Predator see those films as cinematic masterpieces... Can't help but laugh a bit about that.

Pinhead from Hellraiser is the shit.

I liked UV, haven't seen Elektra though but Catwoman is unbearable and I watched it at the cinema.

Fair enough. I think the only genre that doesn't apply might be drama, but that's a very broad genre.

Kamidogu: What can we expect over the next couple of issues? Say too much, we dare you.

Shawn: By the end of Chapter 12, you’re going to know exactly what role the Kamidogu play in our story, and that’s going to have major implications for all our characters.

Kittelsen's interview to Kamidogu.

Well as a film fan you have to be able to compartmentalize. In the realm of sci-fi/action/ Predator (the original with Arnold) and Aliens are, in fact, masterpieces of the genre. The best horror movie or action movie ever created, like Terminator 2 for example, are never going to sniff an Oscar.

They might get a couple nods for technical categories, but without fail they are never going to attain broader awards.

Same goes for comedies.

Just a curiosity: Kotal paints himself.

These are great movies indeed, and I have to admit horror is my least favourite genre.

However I don't know which version of Frankenstein you were thinking about.

The Fly is one of my favourite movies of all time, besides Jeff Goldblum reminds me of my dad, he was very physically alike.
