Lol, I honestly dont hate Predator 2. I mean, its obviously not the best movie, but its watchable.

The Fly is one of my favourite movies of all time, besides Jeff Goldblum reminds me of my dad, he was very physically alike.

Frankstein Im referring to the original 1930's Boris Karloff classic.

And I agree on The Fly. Movie is fantastic.
 
I'm excited about Neil Blomkamp directing Alien 5. Dude's not a horror film director but he's by far one of the best and most underrated filmmakers in existance.

He mixes Sci-Fi with the social reality in a fantastic way.
 
Different strokes, man. You dont have to love everything. There are a bunch of movies that people I know love that I thought were terrible. Like Boondock Saints. I hear nothing but praise for the movie, I thought it was awful.
 
Managed to read the latest issue.

My only complaint, hardly one if you look at it, Goro magically went to a dentist somehow to gain a few false teeth after taking a sledgehammer to the mouth.

Other than that, I'm pleased.

Also, I cannot stop laughing at the similarities Sonya has with Jill Valentine from Resident Evil 5. I mean had she been drawn with the hood up, give her some random mask and there's the exact character. I'm not complaining, I just think it's funny. The first time they finally make her look like something that came from the military and there's huge similarities between her and a character I just loathe from the Resident Evil series. The irony in this is that I'm not a Sonya fan at all. Never had been.

Im excited about it too. Exception visual filmaker. Loved District 9, a bit indifferent on Elysium but still a gorgeous movie. We shall see how Chappie pans out. Im looking forward to seeing what he can do with the darker visuals associated with the series.

Same here. The only good part was Willem Dafoe's character.

its just a short film , its 10 minutes lol, but that direction and vision looks amazing, I hope they go the same route when they make the real film.

go to youtube and put Spawn recall and you'll see it.

Well I don't know how much time passed since his fight with Kotal Ketz however shokans may have some sort of healing factor or perhaps new teeth waiting to replace the old ones just like sharks, don't forget Goro is half dragon.
 
I drunk way to much tonight, but i do know my MK, and thats without Spawn & predator and other bull**** why do theas charcteur s have to take a place for les saw Fujin or mawybe NoobSaibot!`??!~? c'mpn leep it mk only please
 
If Rain was in the game his base specials should all be water moves and then he could have a water variation, a lightning variation and a steam variation.

I don't know I was just thinking about it and didn't know where to post it. lol
 
Summary time.

Spoiler:
At Mileena's hideout in the Golden Desert, Goro rallies the Red Dragon troops, telling them that Mavado has reported Kotal is on his way to the temple... alone. Goro vows that he will kill Kotal like he did his father, as Mileena and Reiko watch. Reiko informs Mileena that after he kills Kotal, Goro plans to kill Mileena as well and take the title of Kahn for himself. Mileena is infuriated at this, and tells Reiko how he is the only one she trusts. Reiko tells her to let Goro battle Kotal alone, and he promises to kill whoever survives the battle himself.

Goro, Rain, and the Red Dragon troops prepare themselves for Kotal's arrival, believing the emperor to have gone completely mad and to be of little danger to them. As Kotal approaches on his T-Rex steed, Goro orders Rain to blot out the sun. Rain complies and summons some storm clouds, and Kotal cuts himself with his blade and invokes his blood magicks in response. A beam of sunlight pierces Rain's clouds and sets him aflame, leaving him horribly burned in a crater. (and it's also made pretty clear that he's alive, never trust out-of-context panels) Goro orders the Red Dragon to attack Kotal, but he leaps off of his steed and easily cuts his way through them, demanding that Goro face him in kombat.

Deciding to comply, Goro tells the Red Dragon to stand back and confronts Kotal, telling him how Shao Kahn would have never allowed an Osh-Tekk to rule Outworld and treated him better than a servant. Declaring that Shokans are conquerors and not servants, Goro blasts Kotal and begins pummelling him, talking of how he should have killed all of Kotal's people those many years ago. Goro grabs Kotal by the throat and begins choking him, but when he mentions Kotal's father, Kotal becomes enraged and rips Goro's very arm off before reaching for his sword. Kotal then methodically slices off the rest of Goro's arms, leaving the crippled Shokan Prince on his knees.

Kotal then gives a signal to Reptile, who had been keeping himself, D'Vorah, Ferra, and Torr all invisible... until now. The four begin slaughtering the rest of the Red Dragon as Goro begs Kotal to finish him, but Kotal believes this would be an act of kindness and refuses, leaving Goro to wallow in misery. Sometime later, as Mileena's hideout burns, Reptile informs Kotal that while Goro will be sent back to Kuatan, Mileena and Reiko have escaped. D'Vorah is concerned about what Kotal risked in using his blood magicks, and Kotal responds that he will need to rest, when a bullet suddenly flies into his stomach! As D'Vorah rushes to Kotal's side, Sonya makes her entrance alongside several cloaked figures, and demands to know where her daughter is!


FYI, we won't have to wait long to find out what happens in Chapter 9. Print issue 3 comes out on Wednesday!

tbh I feel like it didn't get good reviews because it wasn't played by a super hero type actor like arnold. the first half of the movie was horrible but it picks up midway.
 
In case anyone is wondering how I managed to read it already, I got it from iBooks. Ten pm central time was when I managed to get it downloaded to my phone.
 
So with the quick preview of the nest chapter. We saw a close up of Mileena's face. I mean we all knew what she looked like but finally from a front view her Tarkatan features were drawn amazing i thing. Looked disfigured and painful.

But I was thinking and maybe some of you might feel the same. After MK: Legacy 2. I like how Mileena's features were portrayed. She could summon her Tarkatan mouth at any time.

My question to ya'll is do you think that would be a great way for her to be portrayed in the future of the game. Bc to me that whole child demeanor/way she talks would get real old real quick to me! For her to have that ability would mean to me she has matured and control over her that feature. Considering she is now a "Mad" Empress now!

Yeah, I'd say pretty dumb of Kotal, but methinks this is the writer at fault for forgetting character beats.
 
I don't think Kotal considers armless Goro even a little threat at this point. Also this is a lot more personal to him and he probably wants to see his father's murderer suffer.
