Vote YES/NO for kharacters coming back on MKX!

Johnny Cage: No, please. He is one of the most boring characters to me. If one of Cassie's parents have to die, it's him, not Sonya. We almost don't have female characters on the roster, so let's leave Sonya, she's pretty more unique, and Cassie's seems to have the same personality that Johnny have, judging by the comics and her intros.

Jade: I don't know what to say now that we know Kitana is using her staff and some moves in one of her variations. I think it's really a beautiful way for her to honor her best fallen friend. But i'm still very sad for her, cause it really sounds they're never going to bring Jade back again (i know nobody stays dead in MK...), but it really seems a farewell to Jade. But yet, i would still love to have her, of all the 3 female ninjas, she is the one who would most fit the variations system. One would focus on her staff, another on her boomerang and the last one on teleports, shadow kicks and flash. So, YES!

Onaga: don't want to see anything from MK5-MKA repeating. They've changed the storyline for good, so NO.
 
Let's bring Johnny Cage back into the picture!!

Jade, I would say no, I don't see her having an important role in this game honestly.

Let's save up the dragon king for another game ;)
 
I don't understand why they kept Jade dead, yet Kung Lao and Kitana are alive & healthy. Talk about favoritism. I want my Emerald beauty back. :(
 
Johnny : No, hell no.

Jade : No. Kitana seems to be the best Kitana we´ve seen so far in any MK game, so I don´t need any of her clones ( including Mileena).

Onaga : Yes. Unplayable though. He´ll probably be mentioned in the story anyways.
 
Please elaborate as to how Jade or Mileena are clones of Kitana? Their movesets, appearances and personalities are extremely different, so the point you made is invalid.
 
Jade: had Kitana's fan weapon in MK2 as a hidden character, before getting a weapon/moveset of her own.

Mileena: Literal clone of Kitana in storyline created by Shang Tsung

Jade: No Tanya, no Jade. Until my #1 character is in, her rival should stay away.
Onaga: Yes As a boss he could work.
 
After a day filled with news and discovering that probably Jade won't be in the game since Kitana got one variation to honor her fallen friend making use of her staff, we now will start another round. None of the latest fighters from last round are wanted, and you can see the results on the first page of this thread.

Stand up now (or not) for:

- Li Mei;
- Shinnok;
- Nightwolf.

Li Mei: IMO, NO WAY LI MEI. Not playable, I think she is just a filler.

Shinnok: OF COURSE. He is a must. And I hope he has decent moves, cause in MK4 he was a normal guy and on MK:A he had about 3 ground combos and worst special moves ever.

Nightwolf: NO. A dead that can stay dead. At the least for this game, besides the fact that I never found him interesting, but he was a true hero on MK9, and his sacrifice was one of the best and most incredible attitudes of the game.

I totally agree. Hell look past the jaw and she still looks NOTHING like Kitana. I guess they both have black hair... so there's that. lol...


Anyway.

Li Mei gets a Yes from me. I like her character design. People get too hung up on how the 3D era characters were written or their move sets. It's not even a question, it's guaranteed they'd be revamped if they made it into a new game.

Shinnok, he'll be in the game, but there's other characters I'd rather have playable so No.

Nightwolf. Never liked him, he can sit this one out. That's a No.
 
Li Mei : No. But that sexy pose flaunting all she has almost had me saying yes.
Shinnok : Yes, unless he is the final boss he needs to be a playable character after he showed up at the end of the MK9 story mode. It would be a complete troll for the ages if he doesn't show up.
Nightwolf : No, one of the guys who died should stay dead a bit longer. Why not this one.
 
Li Mei- Yesss, she was one of the rarely unique females. She should have been given more of a chance.
Shinnok- Sure.
Nightwolf- Please no. Stay dead. This character is the only one who ever infuriated me highly.
 
Li Mei - No
Shinnok - No, but he will be in the game 100%, as the unlockable character
Nightwolf - One of the lamest characters in 9, along with Stryker, so No.
 
Li Mei - No. Always seemed like a poor man's Kitana to me.

Nightwolf - No. I like him, but he should skip out on this one. Too many other returning characters I'd rather have (Smoke, Cyrax, Kenshi).

Shinnok - Yes, I want him in, but unplayable.
 
Li Mei - I wanted her to be in initially, but it seems she won't. So because of that, and the fact there are other charactes I'd like to see over here, I'll vote NO.

Shinnok - Obviously YES. I hope he isn't the big bad, though, and just a sub-boss. I also hope, if his moveset kicks ass, he'll be unlockable. And I hope he will have his Mythologies look.

Nightwolf - Don't need him. Kotal is better. Plus we'll have Salazar also, so... double NO.

Nightwolf - yes. Kotal is not better and his moves are nothing like nightwolf. so i dont see how he is getting looked at as a replacement :/
 
Li Mei- Yes bc we need more female characters in the roster. Now im sure there will be a healthy mix but as of right now its just Cassie & D'Vorah. Besides i thought she had a decent story and now that the timeline is altered im sure they can redo her

Shinnok- Only as a Boss, never really cared for him as a playable character. So heres to hoping he is in the Story as a Boss character.

Nightwolf- Now Nightwolf is one of my favorite characters and MK9 made him IMO, a Bad Ass. Initially I, ironically was AGAINST him coming back bc i felt it would have diminished his epic scene/battle/sacrifice against Sindel. But with all these returning "DEAD" Heroes, i wouldn't mind seeing Nightwolf make a return. But Im on the fence here. I want them to remain true to the continuity of the last story, so if Nightwolf didn't make an appearance i would be fine. But i would love to see him in bc I want to see how his look would be on the next gen, plus he is a total bad ass. So i say YES to Nightwolf's return
