To me it sounds horrible but that's because it sounds like "Malvado" in spanish, which means "Evil", but is not a word we (argentines) use, since we have a very different variation of spanish, it's what we like to call "a mexican or neutral word".

But it's a word we Mexicans use so it sounds cool to me, lol. I also love Bo' Rai Cho's name for similar reasons.

I do like Bo Rai Cho though, that one makes me laugh.

If you're lucky, Kano will off shorty in the comic or in a cutscene cameo.
 
Now to any spanish speaking guy here, I noticed some weird things on MK9.

Sub-Zero says "Congelado" when doing specials sometimes.
Liu Kang says "Gol de Argentina" when doing specials. (I swear to the god I don't believe in)

And in MKX Reptile's reveal trailer I swear he says "Traga sopa" when he pukes in the opponent's face.

Sorry for the off-topic but that caught my attention lol

I forgot to mention that Kabal is one of my favorite characters. Hopefully that explains my deep hatred of Mavado for you.

And, yeah, hopefully Kano's eyepiece burns a hole through that thief's skull.

It happens in every copy, I have the american version of the game and it's in english of course. The dialogues and screams in battle are not dubbed.

EDIT: I'm going to search for these on youtube tomorrow.


I love Kabal too, but I never liked the randomness of his specials, the gas blast... well, it comes from his breathing apparatus but the buzzsaw? that is random...

I'd like him to have more speed based moves, like the Flash.

Screw them, I'll keep them so they can be my servants, they have no purpose in a fighting game next to Kitana, Sindel, Mileena or Jade. Especially not some puny water-manipulating orphan.
